May Fung Mei Kei and Margie Tsang Wa Sin's program taped yesterday in Happy Valley.  This episode's guests included Michael Tse Tin Wa.  Coincidentally Sister May was responsible for both Tsang Wa Sin and Laughing's first TVB contract.  They have known each other for years.  Laughing will work on the LIVES OF OMISSION (CHIM HUNG JUI GIK) film version TURNING POINT EXTREME (CHIM JUI FAN).  Earlier he posted a poster online, but yesterday he said that the poster was not real.  The film however indeed will have Lam Suet, Wai Ying Hung, Lau Siu Ming and Francis Ng Chun Yu.  Some claimed that "Counterfeit Fala Chen" Rebecca Zhu will play Laughing Soh in replace of Fala Chen.  He said that earlier during costume fitting he did not see her.  He believed that many characters have not been decided and were very mysterious.

Who would he like to be the lead actress?  He joked that how could he be in charge, the film team will decide.  He joked that he did not understand why the female lead had to die every time.  He hoped that this time she would not.  How did he see Laughing's death?  He admitted that he did not want the character to be too worn out, he should stop while he was ahead.  He also did not want the audience to get tired, ultimately he could not go on forever and it had to come to an end.

[2011.09.18] EVA HUANG AND CHARLENE CHOI GET NAKED TO PLAY SNAKE

The Ching Siu Tung directed THE SORCERER AND THE WHITE SNAKE (BAK SEH CHUEN SHUET) will open on September 29th in Hong Kong and the Mainland for the National Day slot.  Eva Huang Shengyi and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin in the film played White Snake and Green Snake.  As Green Snake, Ah Sa would display Green Snake's lively side.  In the film she even played matchmaker to Huang Shengyi and Raymond Lam Fung.  The film added many computer generated special effects.  In THE SORCERER AND THE WHITE SNAKE a human shape that was covered in snake scales from shoulder to waist and below waist was all snake.  In order to realistically display such human snake hybrid, Huang Shengyi and Ah Sa were wrapped in blue cloth from their chest down and relied on post production on the special effect created snake scales.  Their figures left nothing to the imagination.  To create White Snake and Green Snake's "snake skin", Huang Shengyi and Ah Sa also needed to be completely naked in the resin mold.  To Huang Shengyi and Ah Sa, the film THE SORCERER AND THE WHITE SNAKE made them give the biggest leeway in their careers.

Huang Shengyi said the molding process was a little hot.  At first she was not used to it.  Luckily her skin did not have any reaction.  She said that this special effect scene was already much more comfortable than fighting Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit)'s Fahai and being hung up high for a sword fight.  She said that after days of fighting, the molding was like rest for her.  Speaking of working with Ah Sa, Huang Shengyi said that she was a very cute little sister.  This half human, half snake look once gave Director Ching Siu Tung quite a headache as he repeatedly asked the Korean company to make adjustments to achieve Green and White Snake's half human, half snake image.  In addition, the film also had other demons, like Miriam Yeung Chin Wa's rabbit demon, Jiang Wu's turtle demon, Chapman To Man Jat's toad demon, Lam Suet's rooster demon and a particularly cute mouse.  They were all friends of White Snake and Green Snake.

Although Chrissie Chau Sau Na this year would not release another photo book, she still "haunts" otakus as the film company puts her, Jessica C., Jeana and others on playing cards. Chau Sau Na was even the ace of spade.

Aside from mobile phone app to generate popularity, Chau Sau Na's beach volleyball film will be released soon. The film company in order to coordinate the promotion decides to release a series of playing cards, document clips, fans and tissues. The most attractive is the playing cards.

The Chau Sau Na, Theresa Fu Wing and Jessica C. starred film BEACH SPIKE (YIT LONG KAU OI JIN) will soon be released. Facing the Hong Kong box office recording breaking TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON it inevitably will become cannon fodder. Producer Charlie decides to "seduce" the audience's attention as the film sells young and sexy. The cards do not lack the actresses' sexy swimsuit photos. Aside from the three leads, A.Lin, DaDa Lo, Hidy, Rika, Jeana, Hazel and others appear. Even lead actor Law Chung him shows off his giant chest.

In the 52 card deck, lead Sister Na appears the most times with 9 cards and even is the ace of spade. Fu Wing and Jessica C. each have 8. For producers and the director are also on the four 2 cards and become the greatest in Big Deuce. As soon as the cards came out, Sister Na was excited.

[2011.07.04] FALA CHEN SLAPS JOHNSON LEE

Wong Cho Nam, Yuen Siu Cheung and Johnson Lee Si Jit two nights ago wrestled in Mongkok for their film THE FORTUNE BUDDIES (GAING CHAU FUK LUK SAU). Veteran actor Lam Suet even went topless. As over a hundred pedestrians looked up, Fala Chen even slapped Lee Si Jit angrily.

The most attractive was the wrestling scene. Lam Suet, Yuen Siu Cheung and others had doubles for their action scenes. Only Wong Cho Nam personally performed. In a tiger head gear he said, "Because I am a wrestler who is a little mental challenged, I am pretty lame so I don't have to need a double!"

Ordinarily lively, he did not smile perhaps due to exhaustion. Only when he was on his mark he was alert to "give his all".

Lee Si Jit brought his "rumored girlfriend" Spring Roll Wang Bobo to work. She even attentively brought him a drink. Although they did not officially admit that they were dating, their close relationship did not need any description! Shooting in the heat, Lee Si Jit did not complain. "I treat sweating like losing weight!" He and Cheung Jai kept looking at the playback and gave their opinions. Cheung Jai happily said about the crowd, "It's like having more extras, the scene would look better." Fala Chen appeared in flip flops around 11PM and played an angry slap scene with Lee Si Jit. She often advised the less experienced actors.

Famous director Wong Tin Lam on November 16 passed away at the age of 83. Uncle Tin Lam directed over 100 films, later he joined TVB and produced many classic television series. The funeral began last night at the World Funeral Home. Uncle Tin Lam had many disciples and made enormous contributions to the film and television scene. Last night many film and television celebrities came to show their respect from three lands on both sides of the strait. Uncle Tin Lam's son Wong Jing recalled his father's lesson and grew teary eyed.

Wong Jing and his four sisters yesterday arrived at the altar earlier. The funeral will be a Buddhist ceremony. The funeral committee created a special program for the mourners. Lam Ka Tung and Lam Suet, who have worked with Uncle Tin Lam, also arrived early to help. Uncle Tin Lam's disciples Johnnie To Kei Fung and Ringo Lam Lan Tung arrived after 3PM. Wong Jing spoke with reporters in the afternoon. Speaking of his father's remaining wish, Wong Jing pointed out that Father before passing already saw all the relatives, disciples and the best of friends. He was very fortunate and did not have too many regrets. Burial items were all items that he used in his life. Because they could not be cremated, they could only go as far as the crematorium.

As for lessons from Father, Wong Jing grew teary eyed. He pointed out that Father always said to him, "Son, award is destined. Don't force it." Father has said that to him since he was little. Will more memorial events be on the way? Wong Jing said now is enough and a special
program was published. The Buddhist chant ceremony will be ongoing until the final 7 days. He believed everyone will remember him. He pointed out that Father did not want to trouble too many friends. As long as everyone will keep him in their hearts, nothing too deliberate needed to be done. Wong Jing also pointed out that Chow Yun Fat was working in the Mainland and could not come, but he asked To Kei Fung to send his regards. The funeral ceremony starts today at 10AM. Friends of Uncle Tin Lam like Lau Tin Chi, Chung King Fai and Liza Wang Ming Chuen will give eulogies. His 70s, 80s, 90s disciples Lam Lan Tung, To Kei Fung, Benny Chan Muk Sing, Yau Nai Hoi, Patrick Tse Yin, Kenneth Tsang Kong, Damien Lau Chung Yun, Felix Wong Yat Wa will be pallbearers. After the ceremony his remains will head to the crematorium. His ashes will be at Po Pook Hill alongside his beloved wife.

Ann Hui On Wa was not familiar with Uncle Tin Lam but they have seen each other at TVB and greeted each other. She was more familiar with Wong Jing. Lam Ka Tung said that he had very little opportunity to work with Uncle Tin Lam during his television days, instead in films they
worked together more. They also attended the Cannes Film Festival together. At the time he was responsible for taking care of Uncle Tin Lam. He pointed out that Uncle Tin Lam taught him to be calm at the time because young people spoke fast and played madly. Once he learned about Uncle Tin Lam's passing, he immediately called To Kei Fung to see if he could help in any way.

Wong Yat Wa said that Uncle Tin Lam asked him and Michael Miu Kiu Wai to star in THE LEGEND OF CONDOR HEROES (SEH DIU YING HUNG JUEN). He really appreciated him for giving him a chance to work on such a popular series that has been aired and aired again. Wong Yat Wa pointed out that because Uncle Tin Lam asked him to play this character he had his
achievements today. The last time he saw Uncle Tin Lam was at his birthday. When they saw each other on To Kei Fung's set or in the studio they would talk about their experience together. He remembered during CONDOR Uncle Tin Lam said to him, "Kid, since I ask you to work, you can relax. You can just be yourself. He also asked Sei Gor and Lau Tan to keep an eye on me." Wong Yat Wa said that Uncle Tin Lam made such great achievements and had so many disciples, he conceivably had no regret and would depart with joy.

Guests who came to pay their respects included Monica Chan Fat Yung, Cheng Pei Pei, Manfred Wong (Man Jun), Stephen Chan Chi Wan, Lau Ching Wan, Adam Cheng Siu Chau, Chapman To Man Jat, John Chiang Dai Wai and Lee Lam Lam, Wong Yat Wa and Miu Kiu Wai, Chik Mei Chun and Elaine Lok Yi Ling. In addition, Chow Yun Fat, Louisa Lee Sze Kei, Stephen Chow Sing
Chi, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Liza Wang Ming Chuen and others sent floral arrangements.

Maggie Siu Mei Kei and Dior Cheng Yi Kin also came, but Siu Mei Kei left before Cheng Yi Kin appeared. Cheng Siu Chau said that he took time from his series meal time to pay his respect. He said that originally he was one of the pallbearers but due to the series he could not make time. Chau Guoon said that he learned a lot from Uncle Tin Lam. Back then when they worked on THE BOOK AND THE SWORD (SHU GIM YUN SAU LOK) Uncle Tin Lam said that no matter how tough, even sick, he still had to make the show well. Finally the series aired as scheduled and received good rating. Chau Guoon remembered the most Uncle Tin Lam's spirit of perseverance. Deborah Li said that Uncle Tin Lam was good teacher like a father he was not mean at all. He was very patient with teaching younger generations and full of love. Nick Cheung Ka Fai revealed that he met Uncle Tin Lam through Wong Jing. They have worked together, he was a lovably senior with a kind heart and full of great achievement.

Lingnan University presented a honorary degree to famous director Johnnie To Kei Fung. Andy Lau Tak Wa, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Lau Ching Wan and his wife, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Anthony Wong Chau Sun were among the 20 some industry friends came to show support. Wa Jai and Sammi dressed like they were the ones
who were getting an award; To Kei Fung's mentor Wong Tin Lam earlier passed away, To said that he would know in Heaven.

A group of artist friends came to witness To Sir's honor acceptance then posed for a photo outside the gates. as soon as Sammi saw To Sir she congratulated him. Both "Wa" also shook his hands to congratulate him. To Sir was somewhat nervous on stage. Later he said, "I have never done this before, it's a little strange to me. I appreciate my friends for coming all this way to support me. I too had an over a hour car ride from Tuen Mun. Sammi and Ching Wan rarely attend these events. I really thank them very much." To Sir said that he will soon reach his 40th year in the business and felt that he only received the honor because this job caught outside attention. In the future he will continue to work hard on movies. Speaking of mentor Wong Tin Lam not being able to attend, he sadly said, "Even if he was alive he wouldn't come. He's my mentor, he knows."

Wa Jai dressed up for the occasion. Reporters joked if he thought he was getting an award. He said, "To Sir is being honored. (Did you bring any gift?) No, but I shot a short congratulation film earlier. In it I talked about how we met." Wa Jai said back then in TVB he and To Sir
were not familiar. Then they were trapped in Changchun when they made A MOMENT OF ROMANCE 2 (TIN YEUK YAU CHING 2) and they gradually came to an understanding. He said, "with him it is a relationship between gentlemen. Back then he said I was an idol, told me not to just sing and to focus when acting." To Sir constantly made new attempts in film. Wa Jai said, in the future he will be willing to continue to be his lab rat because every time they worked together it has been a success. Would he like to receive a similar honor? He said, "I don't have his energy." As for Felix Wong Yat Wa blasting TVB, he said, "I don't know anything about it, I would support him no matter what. I will call him to get an understanding."

Sammi was very happy for To Sir and praised him for his numerous contribution to film. Before To Sir went on stage she even joked, "I hope he would be smarter on stage so the hat matches." Would she like to receive a similar honor? Sammi said that she did not dare as she was already very happy to be in the audience. Sammi decided to treat him to Japanese food to celebration. As for a gift, she said that she was already dressed like a present. Goo Jai hoped that To Sir will make more good movies in the future, continue to shine overseas. As for a gift, he said, "For Hong Kong film, I would give him my heart!"

Cheung Ka Fai said that in recent years aside from Chang Cheh, To Sir should have the most disciples. As for a gift, he said, "He has everything, I only came in support, maybe I will charge him less salary in the future. (After winning seven Best Actor awards your salary rose
tremendously?) Looking around the film industry, I am already the cheapest, the best value, the one with the most rotten life!" Yam Tat Wa said that today he came to "welcome joy" and talked about Wong Yat Wa blasting TVB. He hoped that he could turn GUN METAL GREY (YING GAING) into welcoming joy; "His complaint is correct, TVB only supports its own
children. What he says is absolutely right." Yam Tat Wa also suggested dividing To Sir's cap into 18 pieces. Ten years later they could put them together again and dine together. Yam Tat Wa's brother Yam Tat Wing later will receive a badge. He said that he will take him to dinner and praised his brother for his great contribution to the society.
