The Metro Hit Radio Award 2011 took place last night.  The first music industry report card presented almost 130 awards.  Eason Chan Yik Shun, Joey Yung Cho Yi and Twins won four awards each as they all became singers with the most awards.  Eason and Joey both won "Metro Hit Global Singer".  Joey who has always longed for a recrd award this time also fulfilled her wish as she defeated her "nemesis" Eason to win the "Metro Hit Record of the Year" award.

Chan Yik Shun and Joey not only won the "Metro Hit Global Singer" award, he also won "Metro Hit Broadcast Index award" and with BITTER MELON won "Metro HIt Song of the Year".  His SNOW IN JUNE and William So Wing Hong's THAT SOMEBODY both won the "Metro Hit Global Song".

Joey aside from the singer and record award also won "Metro Hit Song" with ONE FLOWER A THOUSAND TREES, while WALL PAPER won "Metro Hit Karaoke Song".  Twins' 3650 received song award and they won two group awards.  Metro this year added three special awards and presented the "Metro Hit Twins 10th anniversary award" to Twins, the "Metro Hit Most Outstanding Best Singer Honorary Award" to Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Andy Lau Tak Wa, "Metro Hit Most Outstanding Best Group Honorary Award" to the Grasshoppers.  Earlier accused of competing fiercely to be the top diva at Universal, Kary Ng Yu Fei and Kay Tse On Kay each won two awards.  At the same time the ferociously competed Rookie Award went to both Mag Lam Yun Tung and Joyce Cheng Yun Yi.  Miriam Yeung Chin Wa who was pregnant and did not attend also received an award.

Louis Koo Tin Lok, Twins, Edmond Leung Hong Man, Jacquelin Chong Si Man and Wilfred Lau Ho Lung two nights ago attended a certain label new store opening.  Recently recovered from his leg injury Goo Jai
will work on a Johnnie To Kei Fung police film.  He stressed that he definitely will watch himself.  If he could not perform some dangerous stunts he would not force himself to.

Goo Jai revealed, lately he has been busy with the promotion of his new film MAGIC TO WIN (HOI SUM MOR FAT) and will work on a new To Kei Fung police film that will shoot until the Lunar New Year.  He will spend the holidays at work.  He mentioned that he tried not to take shopping center jobs to avoid flying back and forth, he was better off focusing on making movies.  Would he be careful since his injury was just healed?  Goo Jai said, "I haven't talked with the director about action scenes, but I will try to be careful.  I will try to communicate with To Sir as much as I can.  If I can't do it I will tell him!"  He joked that even without the leg injury if he had to jump from too high a place he would try to avoid it.  Speaking of the action scenes in the film, Goo Jai said, "To Sir doesn't like to use stunt doubles, so I will try to fight myself as much as possible."

Twins revealed that on the 25th they will continue their concert tour in Shanghai.  In mid January they will release a Cantonese record.  Gillian Chung Yun Tung said, "Later we will plan a movie together.  We are now selecting a script.  The characters will be tailored to us!"  They admitted that after TWINS MISSION (SEUNG JI SUN TAU) they have not worked together on a movie for a long time.  Now they are discussing the details and look forward to working together again on another film.
