Vic Chou Yu Man played a father for the first time in the current release NEW PERFECT TWO.  Jai Jai admitted that in reality he would like to be a husband and a father before age 40, but he could not accept a girlfriend with a child already.

Jai Jai as an idol series actor thought switching to play a father for the first time was fun.  He said, "This time can be considered a huge challenge, but Benny and I got along so well that we became good friends!"  Jai Jai admitted that when he first met Benny he felt unnatural, but the director treated him and Benny well because he shot according to their moods.  Jai Jai also praised his co-star as full of childlike innocence.  He said, "I feel Benny isn't mature for his age, his conversations and responses have childlike innocence!"  Jai Jai said that after completing this film he felt deeply that organizing the family was not easy.  He said, "I tried it in the film and it was enough!"  As for the opposite sex, he revealed that recently due to film promotion he asked co-star Mini Yang Mi to introduce women to him.  Did he ask the soon to wed Ella Chen to introduce women?  Jai Jai said, "Not yet!  They both think that I was just saying, but I am very serious because my life circle is very small!"

Was Jai Jai in a hurry to date?  Jai Jai said, "People around me are very warm after they fall in love, their health is particularly good.  Lately I constantly have the flu so I need the other half to help!"  If his girlfrined had a child like in the film what would he do?  Jai Jai said, "You scared me, I believe very rare people would be able to accept that.  Maybe I have to get a DNA test!"  Jai Jai admitted that he hoped that the other half would have filial piety, a simple life, but this type of people was very hard to find.  As for contact with old flame Big S (Barbie Hsu), he said, "No!"

Jai Jai hoped to be a father before 40 and joked that dragging it too long was not good.  He also said, "When I was 19 I thought I should be a husband and a father at 25, but I didn't meet anyone ideal so I had no expectation.  One day when I run into the right person I would get married and have children!"  Would he like a son or a daughter?  Jai Jai preferred a boy.  Jai Jai said, "I can have more interaction with a boy, like smashing his butt would be fine.  If it's a girl it's not too convenient unless I have a tomboy!"  He also hoped to be able to have a chance to play a mentally ill character.  He said, "If I can play a schizophrenic in a film that would be good!"

Jai Jai even posed for a group photo for fans.  Fans fought to be the closest to Jai Jai, luckily no accident happened.  As Jai Jai left the cinema, a fan even screamed, "Jai Jai, I love you!"

[2012.01.21] VIVIAN HSU MOURNS HER GRANDFATHER IN BLACK

courtesy of takungpao.com

The film NEW PERFECT TWO (SUN TIN SUN YUT DUI) two nights ago held its Taipei premiere.  Director Kevin Chu Yen Ping led stars Vic Chou Yu Man, Ella and Benny (Siu Siu Bun) in attendance.  Many artists came to show their support, like Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yeuk Suen), Terri Kwan Wing, Tsang Bo Yi, Joseph Chang Hau Huen and others.  Earlier Tsui Yeuk Suen announced the passing of her grandfather.  Two nights ago she was dressed in black and wore sunglasses.  Reporters consoled her but she did not respond before leaving.

In the poster, Benny was on Jai Jai's shoulders.  Two nights ago reporters asked Benny to do it again, but Benny was afraid of heights and declined.  Later with everyone's encouragement Benny agreed.  This was Ella's first female lead role.  Did she also invited her friends?  She admitted that she hoped all of her friends would show their support and thanked fans for booking shows.  As for Hebe and Selina, she pointed out that Hebe was not in Taiwan.  For Selina's safety, she would ask the director to provide a super VIP room for her to enjoy the film in.  Chu Yen Ping agreed.

Did Jai Jai invited his fellow F4 members?  Jai Jai said that he made brief contact with the other three.  Ken Chu Hau Tin was in Hengdian, Jerry Yan (Yin Sing Yuk) was overseas, and Vanness Wu (Ng Kin Ho) had to work.  However Ng Kin Ho was with Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) earlier?  Jai Jai did not mind.  "Because with good films, good friends like us should have this kind of spirit and stand up for each other."  Jai Jai worked with Benny for the first time.  Was he very patient with children ordinarily?  Jai Jai said in the film he not necessarily would, only with Benny he was particularly patient because he was a child.  Would he make
Benny his god son?  Jai Jai said that they were better off as sworn brothers.  With the impending Lunar New Year, Ella will be at home with her family.  Every year she would spend it in Taiwan.  This year she will see NEW PERFECT TWO with her parents.

[2011.10.17] VIVIAN HSU SAYS REPORTS HURT HER FRIENDS

courtesy of takungpao.com

Taiwan artist Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yeuk Suen) two nights ago attended a product event.  Speaking of her rumored break up due to her boyfriend's unfaithfulness, she called the report untrue.  She felt very apologetic to her friends and hoped that it would not happen again.  She said, "Lately I felt like I would get struck by lightning even when I was at home.  Earlier during the entire interview none of my friends was mentioned, we only talked about the romantic film SLEEPLESS FASHION with Jai Jai (Vic Chou).  Yet the view on love in the film was not the same as the current status.  I don't know why the report would turn into this.  I thought that it was very unfair to the people involved, don't hurt my friends."  As for future romance, she said that she did not think much about it because she had no answer for the future.  At the current stage she is working hard as she always has.

In addition, her film SEEDIQ BALE has received the most Golden Horse Award nominations.  She said that she has already congratulated director Wei Te-Sheng on facebook.  She herself was very touched because she witnessed the entire team's effort.  She said, "I am very happy for the director, good box office is the most important.  It is the biggest recognition of the team and the director."

The Raymond Wong Pak Ming produced, Ronny Yu Yun Tai directed SAVING GENERAL YANG (JUNG LIT YEUNG GA JEUNG) yesterday held a press conference in Beijing and officially announced that Dior Cheng Yi Kin will replace Louis Koo Tin Lok who dropped out due to a leg injury. Yu Yun Tai pointed out that it was divine will.

Playing Yang Linggong, Adam Cheng Siu Chau yesterday led oldest son Ekin Cheng, second son Yu Bo, third son Vic Chou (Chow Yu Ma), fifth son Raymond Lam Fung, sixth son Wu Chun and seventh son Fu Xinbo met with the media in Beijing. Only the fourth son Li Chen due to scheduling issue could not attend.

Being called a second choice, Ekin originally in the play would play the villain Ye Luyuan. Yu Yun Tai thanked Ekin for saving him. Originally at the time Ekin hoped to challenge himself with a villain performance and asked for a day to consider, but the director said no. Finally Ekin that day agreed to take the role. Yet the director also said, "From the beginning of the preparation, I thought the oldest son would be Ekin. Yet boss Wong Pak Ming said that he signed Koo Tin Lok to be a basic actor. Since he said that I couldn't do anything about it. Now Ekin still ends up with this role, it's divine will." Ekin did not mind the role switch, only the performance method would be different. However this time they had more action on horseback. Never a rider, he earlier deliberately went to learn. Unfortunately he said, "I fell off the horse many times, I even rode an infection out of the 'pat pat'. So in less than ten days I had to rush back to Hong Kong to see a doctor." "Pat pat" had many sensitive areas, Ekin stressed that only the meaty part was infected.

Among the seven sons, Chau Guoon has only worked with Ekin. Back then they worked together on the television series INSTINCT (SIU HONG FUNG WON). Chau Guoon said that Ekin at the time was still a young man who enjoyed video games. With seven young and handsome sons all at once, Chau Guoon said that it felt decent. Yesterday he held his own with light adjusting sunglasses and a leopard print shirt. He and Lam Fung got along famously. When they went off stage for media interview, they even held hands and secretly competed in chok look. Ekin called Chau Guoon the Chok King Ancestor, costume and modern fashion had different way of chok. Even Lam Fung submitted and proclaimed him god. Chau Guoon joked that the look followed his wife's orders. He already snuck out a black jacket to keep from standing out too much and stealing the show from the six sons.

Lam Fung and Jai Jai both grew facial hair for their roles. Lam Fung thought it was more natural than fake beard. Gaining two kilograms but still frail, Jai Jai this time officially learned to ride a horse for the shoot. As for Ekin's "pat pat" infection from the training, he felt that the technique was hard to grasp right away. The horse could be out of control all of a sudden so he needed to grasp the sense of balance and react quickly; Lam Fung joked that Ekin might be infected from being hot tempered.

The Kevin Chu Yen Ping directed, Vic Chou (Chow Yu Man), Yang Mi, Ella, Benny (Siu Siu Bun) and Ding Shasha starred film HAPPY UNION (TIN SUN YUT DUI) yesterday held a Beijing press conference. With Qixi on the way, the event placed a giant heart shaped floral arrangement for the cast to take photos with. In the film child actor Ding Shasha had a crush on Benny, but when the event arranged for them to hold hands Benny was somewhat upset and even made some funny expressions that made everyone laugh. Rising in popularity, Yang Mi had fans with banners and flowers for her. Because later she still had to work, yesterday she took three hours off to attend the press conference. Jai Jai also had fan cheering him on.

This film will be released during the year end holidays, now the Taiwan segment has already been completed. Later it will shoot in Shanghai. Although during the holiday it will face a lot of strong competition, director Chu Yen Ping was very confident. Because among the action and martial art films, HAPPY UNION was like a fresh breeze, a tears within laughter romance that would gently conquer the tough. He even believed in film luck. Because the cast had strong popularity, the film had good luck. In the film was Jai Jai a Happy Union with Yang Mi or Ella? He joked that Jai Jai this time was very lucky. He not only had two women but also Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yuek Suen). Jai Jai heard and happily smiled.

Yang Mi this time played Jai Jai's former wife, Ella played his confidante and Tsui Yuek Suen played another girlfriend. Which type of girl would Jai Jai choose? Before he was able to answer, Ella already cut in. "He doesn't need to choose, he definitely would choose me." She also said to Yang Mi, "Give me a chance." Jai Jai laughed and said, "Since you say it like that, I choose you." Jai Jai and Benny also had a father and son relationship. Jai Jai honestly said that at first he was worried whether he would be able to work with a child actor. Luckily childhood stardom has not polluted Benny. They had great communication. Reporters asked whether Benny liked Jai Jai or his own father? He directly said he liked his own father. When Yang Mi first worked with Jai Jai, she thought that he lived in his own life and was somewhat hard to communicate with. Later she realized that his eyes were electrifying, which caused her to lose control. Luckily she was able to leave her character.

Raymond Lam Fung, Wu Chun, Vic Chou Yu Man, Yu Bo, Fu Xinbo appeared and attracted 300 fans. Later, the team went to pay their respect to the Yang family ancestors at the Yang House. However Adam Cheng Siu Chau who played Yang Linggong, Louis Koo Tin Lok who played the oldest son and Li Chen who played the fourth son. The film cost almost 200 million. The Ronny Yu Yun Tai directed, Wong Pak Chi's son Edmond Wong Chi Hung written film starred top film stars of three lands on both sides of the strait. Lam Fung played the fifth son, Wu Chun the sixth son, Chou Yu Man the third son and Yu Bo the second song, Fu Xinbo the seventh son, Dior Cheng Yi Kin as Pan Renmei, and Xu Fan as She Taijun. The actors shared their feeling after they received the script. Because the story was mainly about siblings and family, Wu Chun after reading it wanted to call his father. Lam Fung already imagined the scenes as he read the script and believed that everyone would like it. As for Jai Jai who would play in costume for the first time, he said that he was very happy to run into a good script. Originally he worried that his costume look would be terrifying, but he was unexpectedly handsome. Later he also added, "The other brothers are also very handsome." Goo Jai was absent due to his right leg injury. Wong Pak Ming revealed that he has talked with Goo Jai over the phone, although his injury has improved the doctor's report would determine when he would start work. Wong Pak Ming also stressed that he would not recast because Goo Jai was the soul of the story.

Wu Chun, Jai Jai and Lam Fung all worried about Goo Jai's injury and wished him a speedy recovery. Lam Fung ten years ago worked with Goo Jai on STEP INTO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) so he looked forward to working together again very much. Making his costume debut Jai Jai joked that despite the action director on the hand he still wanted to ask Wu Chun to be his personal trainer. Wu Chun immediately agreed. They also had to learn to ride for the film together. Jai Jai said that he had to foster a relationship with the horse and he already had three lessons. Every time he improved.

[2010.08.08] VIC CHOU RUNS ALL OVER TAIWAN FOR NEW FILM

courtesy of takungpao.com

For the film LOVE YOU 10,000 YEARS, Vic Chou Yu Man has been promoting nonstop from Taipei, Kaohsiung to Taichung. The original soundtrack sold over 2,000 copies on a single day, the sales figure of the general Taiwan singer record for a month.

Jai Jai's new film LOVE YOU 10,000 YEARS two nights ago held 3 premiere events in Taipei, one of which fans booked the entire venue. The proceeds went to charity. The biggest reaction from fans of course was from seeing Jai Jai and the lead actress' intimate scene.

Jai Jai in 2 hours went to three premiere events and shook hands without stop with fans. Over 1,000 fans from Japan, Korea and other nations bought the film's original soundtrack, raising its one day sales figure to over 2,000 copies -- the one month sales performance of Taiwan singer records. They even made the novel and the film pictorial collection big hits.

Yesterday Jai Jai first went to Kaohsiung then to Taichung to attend promotional and premiere events. Fans followed from Taipei, to Kuohsiung to Taichung and back. This summer, Taiwan had many local film releases. Jai Jai battled the Wang Leehom (Wong Lik Won) starred LOVE IN DISGUISE (LUEN OI TUNG GO). Jai Jai felt that improvement only came from competition and urged his fans to watch Wang Leehom's new film as well in support of each other's box office!

Earlier Jai Jai's schedule reportedly could not coordinate with the promotion. Jai Jai admitted, "Because earlier I had to work in the Mainland, I am sorry that I could not participate in some promotions. Later, the Mainland production was postponed and I immediately asked my
management company to tell the film that I could try to promote more." As for the box office, Jai Jai would not have any pressure. As long as he was able to make a film that he liked he was happy. He said that he has always been a very demanding actor with many principles for taking a film. If he did not like it he would not accept it. Even with the high salary he would not consider it.
