EX (CHIN DOH) and AMPHETAMINE yesterday held their premieres at the Cultural Center. Winnie Leung Man Yui successfully stole the show with her low cut fashion. Once linked in gossip with Gillian Chung Yun Tung, Jacky Heung Jor was in the EX cast but did not make an appearance. Ah Gil expressed that they were not close so she did not know the reason for his absence.

Ah Gil at the premiere expressed that she looked forward very much to this film's release. She only saw some of it during post production voice work. She mentioned that this was her first film lead since the "sex photo scandal" so she was nervous. In addition this time the subject was different from her previous films, she even gave many first performance like on screen kiss and sharing a bath. She also stated that when she and William shot the shared bath scene, due to the low temperature the director deliberately put them in hot water and made them suffer in it for long periods. Ah Gil said, "It looked very sweet but actually it was very dizzying and very tough. I am not a soaker, after the shoot I was completely exhausted." She pointed out that in her past movies even hand holding was rare and hugs were very forced.

Rumored boyfriend Juno Mak Chun Lung said that buying one ticket to support the Twins concert was enough. Ah Gil said, "Great! There may not be tickets, they are sold out! If he will attend I will treat." She also pointed out that after that interview Juno called her to mention what he said. Heung Jor did not appear, Ah Gil expressed that only the film company would know why he did not attend. Was he avoiding her? She said, "I don't think like that. (Have you had any contact with him?) He and I really aren't close."

Meanwhile, AMPHETAMINE due to the censors' request to cut the sodomy scene made the director Scud (Wan Cheung) consider pulling it from release. However the film will be released on April 8 as scheduled. Wan Cheung expressed that the film censors already agreed to the black screen but keeping the voices and subtitles. This scene will be less than a minute long. He said, "If it isn't released in Hong Kong, it is unfair to the actors and the audience. In addition Hong Kong has never had black screen. Since it is the first time I can try it. I will continue to appeal but the appeal will take place on the 28th, by then the film's run will be also done." Leung Man Yi performed her first nude scene in the film but the sodomy scene has stolen her thunder. She said, "Don't look at it like that! This incident has caught a lot of people's attention, maybe it's a good thing."
