The Andy Lau Tak Wa, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Fan Bingbing, Wu Jing and Yu Shaoqun starred film SHAOLIN (SUN SIU LUM JI) has already been scheduled for a 2011 golden holiday period release. In the film Wa Jai played a general who wanted to become king. For money and power he overlooked human lives; later he ran into a drastic change and took refuge in Shaolin, came to understood Buddhism and in order to protect the Shaolin Temple he opposed Ting Fung's character. In real life Wa Jai has been a Buddhist for years. Playing the general to him honestly was absolutely difficult because this person experienced too much, from being rich to losing everything. He experienced all the rises and falls, the emotional control in between was truly tough. Wa Jai said, "In the last scene I was still happy playing with the daughter, in the next I was killing people with a sword. The emotions were like a roller coaster ride."

Also under an acting challenge was Tse Ting Fung who played Wa Jai's subordinate originally. Later he gradually grew cruel and merciless as he became a villain. Ting Fung thanked
director Benny Chan Muk Sing for giving him the chance to play this character. "I have always wanted to play a thoroughly evil character, but I have never run into it until now. This time finally I satisfied my acting bug." Chan Muk Sing was very happy to work with so many
outstanding actors and even building bonds with them. They said, "We have been together for several months, from the beginning when everyone ate at their own corners to later when everyone ate together at the same table, with talks and laughter no different from a family."
