ABC led a very quiet Saturday night with a 1.2 Adult 18-49 from 8-11 pm in the preliminary fast nationals. Wipeout at 8 pm averaged a 0.9 from 8:00-8:30 and 1.0 from 8:30-9:00, winning the hour. ABC continued its winning ways from 9-11 pm with a 20/20 special, My Extreme Affliction (about people with extraordinary abilities and medical conditions). The special averaged a 1.3 rating over the two hours (1.3 at 9:00, 1.3 at 9:30, 1.4 at 10:00 and 1.1 at 10:30), winning each half hour before faltering to second place at 10:30.
FOX premiered Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's global search for Latin dance talent from 8-10 pm, Q'Viva! The Chosen, averaging a 0.8 rating. By half hour the special earned a 0.8 at 8:00 (second place), 0.7 at 8:30 (tied for second), 0.7 at 9:00 (third place) and 0.8 at 9:30 (third place). The special under-performed Cops in the 8 pm hour but slightly exceed the various drama repeats at 9 pm.
CBS averaged a 0.9 from 8-11 pm with drama repeats at 8 pm (CSI: New York, 0.7) and 9 pm (CSI, 0.8), followed by 48 Hours Mystery at 10 pm (1.1).
NBC scraped together a 0.5 rating in prime time with a repeat Smash (0.4), an original The Firm (0.4) and repeat Law & Order: SVU (0.8).
