"Music Industry Teaching Father" Dai Si Chung earlier passed away. Yesterday his funeral was held. Andy Lau Tak Wa, Daniel Chan Hiu Tung, Tong Chun Yip and other students of Mr. Dai gathered to pay their last respect. Calling him father, Tung Tung in his eulogy even knelt on the floor and kowtowed twice to thank Dai Si Chung. Wa Jai accompanied Mrs. Dai the entire time. Mr. Dai's two students both showed filial piety, conceivably Mr. Dai could go in peace.

Dai Si Chung's widow Mui Tak, older daughter Dai Wan Wai, younger daughter Dai Sun Wai and two grandsons arrived after 7AM. Tung Tung after 8PM came with Mother Chan. Soon Dai Wan Wai revealed arrangement for media photos with the pallbearers. When asked about Mrs. Dai's mood, she honestly said that she was much better. As for hope for anyone specific to attend, she responded, "Those who intended would naturally attend. (Would you like Kevin Cheng Ka Wing to attend?) No comment." Reporters said that Cheng Ka Wing was rumored to give HK$200,000. She did not respond and hurried back to the hall.

The ceremony took place around 11:30AM and the hall was decorated in simple white. Floral arrangements from Dai Si Chung's family, friends and students filled both sides. Although Cheng Ka Wing was not permitted to attend, his floral arrangement could be easily seen on the left. Seemingly the Dai family has already forgiven this student. Aside from Mrs. Dai's speech of appreciation, Chan Hiu Tung and Liu Shikun both gave eulogies. Tung Tung before and after delivering his eulogy even knelt on the floor and kowtowed in appreciated for the mentor's years of training. He also described Dai Si Chung as mentor and "Old Man". Tung Tung said, "Mr. Dai, my mentor contributed more than half his life to music and played a pivotal role. Hong Kong music boomed with his students' achievements, his contribution to singing was enormous. Although Mr. Dai in recent years has been very low key, he still spared no effort in teaching students. His selfless contribution makes everyone forever miss this music industry teaching father." Liu Shikun also praised Dai Si Chung's contribution to music and educating talent as well as his sincerely loving heart. He believed that his late friend would be comforted in Heaven. Liu Shikun, Cheung Ming Man then along with Chan Hiu Tung, Tong Chun Yip and others served as Mr. Dai's pallbearers. Dai Wan Wai's older son carried his grandfather's photo to the hearse. The Dai sisters also rode the same vehicle. Wa Jai tightly guarded Mrs. Dai to keep her from disturbance and took a bus with other friends and family members to the Collinson Crematorium. 15 minutes later the cremation ceremony ended. Tung Tung. Liu Shikun, Wa Jai and others left first with Mrs. Dai.

After 1PM they appeared at the banquet. When Wa Jai arrived he was the first to ensure Mrs. Dai's safety, however he quickly left after staying a hour. Tung Tung left in the company of Dai Wan Wai and Dai Sun Wai. He also hug them in parting. Dai Wan Wai revealed that his father's
ashes will be placed at "Shan Yuan". She stated, "Because he and the owner had a relationship. She also was very fond of Teacher so she would give him a good spot." Dai Wan Wai stated that no memorial has never considered because Teacher liked to keep a low profile in life. Today's
funeral was very glorious and enabled him to go in peace. The Dai family left around 3PM.
