Louis Koo Tin Lok and Gao Yuanyaun yesterday worked on the film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART (DAN SUN NAM NUI) in Cyberport. Goo Jai stated that SINGLE has been in production since May. He also had to commute between Hong Kong and China as he was working on the new film CHINESE GHOST STORY (SIN NUI YAU WON) in Shanghai. Due to the heat in Shanghai and the costume shoot, although he was already used to working under the
scorching sun he dropped over 20 pounds. Goo Jai said, "So I am very lucky to be in this film production, as I can constantly shoot indoors in the air conditioning."
Goo Jai and Gao Yuanyuan have not worked together much. After ROB B HOOD (BO BUI GAI WAT) they worked together again and even had intimate scenes. Goo Jai said, "We kissed from the living room to the bedroom, then to the bed. Not only do we have to finish the scene but we
also have to do something else -- clean up. Before hand the director and the assistant director already performed once for us to study the marks. With so much stuff going on, I feel a little messed up."
Gao Yuanyuan expressed that this shoot has been long as it took three months. At first the shoot did not have a script, which caught her off guard. She said, "I am used to turning the scripts back and forth and familiarize myself with it before the shoot. At first I truly wasn't used to it." Yuanyuan felt that the kiss scene with Koo Tin Lok was not too passionate, but she had to focus on the marks so she felt out of control. As for Koo Tin Lok's less than fluent Putonghua that made him the target of jokes, Gao Yuanyuan felt that Goo Jai has already improved a lot and stressed that she had no problem communicating with him. Yuanyuan said, "I don't have a knack for language either. Goo Jai occasionally would have terms that he didn't understand and I would interpret it for him."
