The Sked: SATURDAY RATINGS November 19 & Sweep Update

Last night, ABC had another good Saturday with college football.  Most of the country saw USC upset #4 ranked Oregon, and ABC scored a 2.4 Adult 18-49 rating in the fast nationals, which we are boosting to an estimated 2.8 time-zone adjusted rating.  The 2.8 rating would be 65% above the 1.7 rating turned in by college football on the comparable night last year. 

CBS was a weak second place last night from 8-11 pm (1.1 rating).  The comedies Big Bang Theory (1.2) and 2 Broke Girls (1.3) improved the 8 pm hour over the same night last year (Crimetime Saturday with a 0.9 rating).  However, 9-11 pm lagged behind last year's results.  The Mentalist (0.9 last night at 9) was lower than Crimetime Saturday at 9 last year (1.1), and 48 Hours Mystery was down year-to-year (1.4 last night and 1.1 last year).

FOX's Saturday has utterly collapsed when the UFC is not on.  Cops at 8:00 (1.2) compares to a 1.7 last year, while Cops at 8:30 (1.4) also lags last year's result (1.8).  But the big miss comes at 9 pm: Terra Nova repeat last night (0.6) versus the departed America's Most Wanted (1.7).

NBC's drama repeats, Harry's Law (0.4), Prime Suspect (0.6) and L&O: SVU (1.1), averaged a 0.7, slightly behind last year's 0.8 for Notre Dame football.
