Movie Box Review

Rainie Yang (Yeung Sing Lam), Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam and Jones Xu (Tsui Ching Hei) yesterday promoted the film CHILD'S EYE (TUNG NGAN) as the trio went to the cinema and met with viewers. Yeung Sing Lam and Kong Yeuk Lam after working together this time became good friends. Yesterday they were dressed like twins as both came in denim shorts and long boots. They said that they dressed very similarly but because they did not plan to. Rainie brought all of her clothing from Taiwan. They could not have expected to be so similar. Elanne joked that yesterday they were well matched.

Yesterday they attended the event together as their fans kept chanting. Were they afraid that their fans would be at odds? They believed that would not happen. Rainie pointed out that fans might be as in character as they were to be chanting so strongly. Elanne also joked that when she heard the fans she thought she owed them money. They also talked about their production experience. Tsui Ching Hei said that after work he and Rainie went to Kong Yeuk Lam's room to play and they were like a family. Rainie also revealed that Tsui Ching Hei put on Elanne's pajamas and hair band and walked around, but she praised her as attentive and would help with the dishes.

Elanne praised Tsui Ching Hei was a 100% nice guy, but his chest almost ripped out her pajamas. She also joked that maybe he had a costume fetish so she would not fantasize about him. Rainie also praised Tsui Ching Hei as very cute, Elanne's clothes was all over the round but he often would automatically fold them up for her. Rainie pointed out that everyone thought she looked tough, but Elanne was was a girl who needed to be taken care of. She was very envious.

CHILD'S EYE (TUNG NGAN) received good reviews after its Venice Film Festival premiere. The leads Rainie Yang (Yeung Sing Lam) and Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam were convincing with their terrified looks in the film. The 3D effects also added the terror of the film as if the movie was reaching at the audience.

Ghost film expert directors Pang Brothers added 3D elements in their horror film and strengthened the horror level of CHILD'S EYE, making the audience that was "trapped" at the movies paranoid and feeling "there is always one around"!

As Hong Kong's first 3D horror film, whether the horror effects were enough naturally became the topic of attention. "Sacrifices" Yeung Sing Lam and Kong Yeuk Lam in the film were kept in terror. Although personally they were very close, acting wise they held a "scared look" duel. They along with Ciwi Lam Si Man had a lot of opportunities to demonstrate their skills, as they were exhausted and crying from being scared. Yeung Sing Lam gave up her cute image to play a brave and depressed character. Kong Yeuk Lam and Ciwi had to sacrifice their beauty for their roles.

Early in the film, Kong Yeuk Lam saw something strange and was attacked. Although at the time she was acting with air, her scared look was still convincing. After the 3D effects, the hand seemed to reach out of the screen. Not only Kong Yeuk Lam was fainted from fright, the

audience would be screaming too! Later a monster attacked Yeung Sing Lam, who gave a "speechless from fright" look. The 3D monster looked very real, no wonder the self admitted chicken kept screaming at the premiere.

The film also had other horror scenes. For example Jones Xu (Tsui Ching Hei)'s possession scene was shocking. The underworld also appeared in the film, with plenty of paper offering flowing in the air. The layers were clear and absolutely did not waste the 3D technology.
