[2009.06.02] SANDRA NG WOULD RATHER PICK HER NOSE

Sandra Ng Kwan Yu once revealed that she was upset when director Wong Jing forced her to make a nose picking scene. Years later, she and Wong Jing again worked together on the film DAI NOI MUK TAM LING LING GAU. This time Kwan Yu finally was spared from the nose picking scene. Wong Jing even gave her the title of the Queen of West Palace; however, Kwan Yu's experience was even worse. When Kwan Yu accepted this character she was very excited. When she saw the glittery and golden palace costume she thought she could be a pretty queen. When she put on the queen costume, which weighed over 20 pounds aside from the gold crown, she had a very tough time under above 30 degree Celsius temperature. She even had to wear the costume more than 12 hours. She expressed that when she ate she had to do so with a stiff neck. The entire experience was a sauna bath and gave her a headache. In comparison she would rather pick her nose.
