Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!

Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday September 18, 2009!

In limited release this week we have one release Pour Elle / For Her a French film that is the feature film directorial debut from Fred Cavayé.

In wide release this week we have four films in release, first up is coming right at you, literally with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 3D and regular D! It's an animated film that and an adaptation of the book by Judi & Ron Barrett. If you are feeling a little romantic perhaps your best bet is Love Happens starring Aaron Eckhart as a widower and accidental self-help icon/author and Jennifer Aniston as a florist who meets him. Festival films start to hit the regular theatres today with bnoth the whistle blowing crime comedy based on a true story The Informant! and high school evil gets re-defined in Jennifer's Body, from Girlfight director Karyn Kusama and starring Megan Fox.

Remember to check local listing for theatre times before heading out as many downtown theatres are still showing festival films this weekend.
