To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the nation, the film PAN ZUOLIANG had famous Chinese director Song Jiangbo at the helm and received the Central Propaganda Section, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, and the State Bureau for Letters and Calls recommendation. The film is based on real stories about a State Bureau for Letters and Calls grassroot official Pan Zuoliang, who served the people and petitioned on behalf of their innocence. It is a heart warming art film about a public servant's simple life.
This film's main story is about Pan Zuoliang's four real cases while working at the Bureau, and his life with his family and co-workers. It vividly expresses a grassroot official's sincere and selfless spirit to serve the people. Hong Kong Gold Label's Paco Wong after watching this inspirational and selfless film in the Mainland was touched. Not only did he recommend it to the Hong Kong film professionals but also mentioned to Hopewell HOldings Limited's Thomas Wu and Hong Kong Association of Youth Development's Chan Chun that the selfish service spirit should be promoted in Hong Kong. All three parties agreed and imported the film. Thomas Wu sponsored the premiere venue and event to raise fund of the Hong Kong Association of Youth Development. The film charity premiere will take place on the 20th at the Kowloon Bay Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Center.
