Famous film worker Woo Siu Fung passed away earlier. He was one of the most famous Hong Kong film directors between the 50s and the 80s. His representative work included MY DARLING PRINCESS (GUM JI YUK YIP), THE HUT ON HILLTOP (OAK), GENTLEMAN WHO STEALS (LEUNG SEUNG GWUN JI) and others. GENTLEMAN WHO STEALS even broken the then Hong Kong black and white film box office record.
Director Woo on October 3 2009 at 5:05AM passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Kowloon Haven of Hope Hospital. A viewing will take place on October 27 at the World Funeral Home and the funeral will take pale on October 28 at 10AM.
