Alice Rules: Canadian, North American, UK & Australian Box Office March 5, 2010 Weekend

The numbers are in and it's definitive - Alice in Wonderland (2010) is a huge box office success. Not only has it topped all four charts this week, it's also the highest grossing debut weekend for 2010 of all four charts as week. It's early in the year so we knew that would happen at some point, but if you compare it to 2009 weekend grosses, it would have placed No.2 in Canada (with $8.63M) and North America ($116.1M) coming second only to The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Similar comparisons in the UK where it would have been 3rd, after Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Wow. Now that is some fantastical film power.
