The Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred THE LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN continued to garner attention during the Cannes Film Festival. Although the film festival has already closed, the film is still under negotiation with different nations. So far it has already been sold to 18 nations in Europe and America. Andrew Lau Wai Keung personally edited a 11 minute long trailer that received compliments from many European film buyers and film critics. Chi Tan this time demonstrated the power of the "strongest in the universe" and swept across the global with his "invincible scissor kick" this summer.

In the trailer Yen Chi Tan was dodging bullets while on the run, empty handed he leaped toward the enemy's head and even jumped around in mid air while holding onto a rope with one hand. This scene used over 2,000 participants in the shoot. With the numerous explosions, Chi Tan was obviously very nervous on the set as he worried about any mishap between the explosion points and the extras would lead to an accident. This scene alone required nearly a week to shoot. It was shot in the winter when temperature dropped to only 1 degree Celsius, the team spent a entire week indoors and had to coordinate with the rain scene. The production thus became more difficult.

Lau Wai Keung pointed out that he liked to discuss the action sequence designs with Chi Tan on the set. "I admire that he not only kept his mind on the action but also the overall picture. From the dramatic to the action scenes he would consider the cause and the effect. For example for that action scene, he suggested that rain would add to the fight atmosphere and beauty." The latest Hong Kong version film poster has been released. Yen Chi Tan's "Invincible Kick" "swept" Bruce Lee like feisty and fierce reputation.
