Gong Li promoted the Chinese adaptation of WHAT WOMEN WANT in the U.S. She said that in the film she played a career woman. In recent years she rarely played modern woman roles, as she believed this time she was able to show her skills more.
Gong Li also revealed that she had two Chinese films and two Hollywood film scripts on hand. She would make one each.
