The Johnnie To Kei Fung directed film LIFE WITHOUT PRINCIPLE (DUET MING GUM) after earlier qualifying for the Venice Film Festival competition will participate in the Toronto Film Festival. The film will premiere there on September 12 at 9PM. To Sir will attend. This will be To Sir's third time attending that film festival after THE MISSION (CHEUNG FOR) and FULL TIME KILLER (CHUEN JIK SAT SAU).

Because the cast Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Lau Ching Wan and Denise Ho Wan Si will be working, so far only To Sir will head to Toronto. To Sir stated that he could do nothing about that since all the actors in the film were show business hot properties. He was already very happy for them to be able to attend the Venice Film Festival. Although To Sir also had many film post production and new film pre production on hand, he valued the Toronto Film Festival and would rather rearrange his schedule to personally attend. The film will open on October 20 in Hong Kong.
