ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) earlier shot its poster. The film's first poster was officially unveiled yesterday. Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man on the day of the shoot was already completely in the mood as a Hong Kong studio was turned into the 3800 meters above sea level Shangri-La.
On the day of the poster shoot Goo Jai and Sammi met for the first time since leaving Shangri-La. Photographer Wing Shya (Ha Wing Hong) asked them to make some intimate poses as lovers would. When they embraced they were almost face to face, but they were not embarrassed at all. Instead they got ample opportunities to catch up. The harmonious romance filled the studio and completely saved any warm up time.
In one pose Goo Jai had to pick up Sammi. They made many different poses and the move took the longest all day. Goo Jai picked up Sammi almost 30 times before finishing the shoot. With his leg injury at the time, the crew worried about him. Goo Jai said, "It wasn't a problem, Sammi is very light! Picking her up wasn't tough at all! While shooting in high altitude in one scene I had to pick her up. There I was out of breath from just walking, but carrying her I didn't feel any weight on my back." Sammi joked that she was eight pounds heavier than during the shoot. Now she is 105 pounds and actually heavier, only Goo Jai was too strong to notice.
They were very professional that day and took care of their oral hygiene. They also had chewing gum with them just in case. That day Goo Jai and Sammi chatted and laughed in close distance. Finally the gum was not necessary.
