The film BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS (SUP YUET WAI SING) two nights ago held a premiere in Tsim Sha Tsui's just opened UA I-Square cinema. The film's director Teddy Chan Tak Sum, producer Peter Chan Ho Sun and actors Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Hu Jun, Chris Lee Yuchun, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Fan Bingbing, Wong Bo-Chieh and Leon Lai Ming attended. Guests included Anke Bui On Kei and Chan Ho Sun's wife Sandra Ng Kwan Yu.

Yen Chi Tan expressed that the biggest challenge was the dramatic scenes. Since making IP MAN he has been very careful with his role selection. At first he worried that he would not perform well. Lai Ming played a beggar in the film and said that he was the happiest about being able to participate in a good movie and play a character that he has not played before. It was very innovative. He said, "I haven't been to this venue. The climate is comfortable here, I hope everyone can watch with comfort and anticipation." However, Lai Ming left soon after the
premiere. Tsang Chi Wai joked that the most unforgettable was his bed scene with Lee Yuchun, whose fans immediately jeered. Chi Wai later explained that he was only creating atmosphere.
Tsang Chi Wai's film 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY will soon open. He expressed that it will not be in direct confrontation. He even planned to dine at the studio with the film's over 100 actors to celebrate. He said, "They (BODYGUARDS) are no match for us." Chi Wai expressed that after completing BODYGUARDS he was interested in directing again. To be able to
make this type of movies is a director's dream. The film had a chance to reach Hollywood quality. Chi Wai expressed that in the film two of his scenes were cut. Would he like another version from the director? He of course would because both scenes were very well performed. He joked that he could win Best Actor. Yam Tat Wa said that he guest starred in two scenes as Lee Yuchun's father. He said that he performed very well and would not be cut. Chi Wai joked, "Lee Yuchun was the one who performed well." Yam Tat Wa praised the first time actress for her acting potential. On the first day he already saw her as his own daughter.

Tse Ting Fung thanked director Chan Tak Sum and the audience's praise of his acting and said that he already received Chan Tak Sum's screenplay, which may start production in May. He looked forward to BODYGUARDS himself. Will he bring his wife Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi? He
expressed that he will. Was he afraid that with so many deaths in the film that it would not be suitable for pregnant women? He said that it should not be. Ting Fung said that earlier his wife visited the doctor, who told her then they would have to wait to learn the sex of the child. Was the child hiding the important part? Ting Fung said that he did not know. As for recent claim that Pak Chi looked somewhat swollen, he just said that Kwan Yu just praised Pak Chi for being in great shape after running into her.

In addition, did Hu Jun feel any pressure with so many big Christmas film openings? He said that he too was an ace so he had no pressure.

Fan Bingbing dressed up for the occasion with five inch high heels. Yam Tat Wa and Leung Ka Fai attentively gave her a hand. Bingbing said that she felt twice as tall and luckily Ka Fai and Yam Tat Wa took great care of her. During the shoot Ka Fai already treated her very well. Bingbing expressed that she has not seen BODYGUARDS but heard that the Mainland media already praised this film as the best one of the period. Did she feel most of the film was male driven? She said that actually it was very even. Most importantly everyone liked this film.
Lai Ming in the film also performed very well.

Lee Yuchun expressed that she was very nervous due to her first film. She stated that she still has not seen the film but she was very happy that so many fans came to the premiere to support her. Lee Yuchun expressed that Yam Tat Wa and Wang Xueqi both taught her acting. Speaking of Chi Wai's unforgettable bed scene, she said that did not happen and Chi
Wai was just joking. Was she daring enough for a bed scene? She expressed that she has never done it. With this being her first film she would have to watch the result before deciding whether she would act again.

Ng Kwan Yu came to support the movie and so did her parents. She has already completed her new film DUT HAN CHAU FAN (FREE TO FRY RICE) and later will accompany her husband to promote BODYGUARDS in the Mainland. Then they will spend the New Year in Thailand. Has she seen BODYGUARDS? She expressed that she did not deliberately watch it. She used to watch Chan Ho Sun's movies and give him her opinion, but this time he was very confident so she did not see it before hand. As for her favorite part, she expressed that both Lai Ming and Ting Fung had emotional scenes so the choice was very hard. In addition she worried that she would cross other actors. She said, "I look forward to Dr. Sun Yat-sen's character the most, earlier many couldn't guess who would play him." Was she confident about the box office? She said that she would not guess the amount. If she guessed too little she was afraid of being embarrassed and if she guessed too much she was afraid of giving people the impression of
arrogance.
