Tuesday time which means it's time to look at todays DVD releases. Here is what's hitting the Tuesday December 7, 2010!
The biggie of the week has tobe one of the years most anticipated and loved films, which is Christopher Nolan's mind-bender Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio. One of my favourite films of the year is Best Worst Movie, which has it's Canadian DVD release today - for the uninitiated, it's a documentary with a "Where Are They Now" vibe to it following up with the cast and crew of Troll 2, along with the suprizing fandom & culture surrounding the "Worst" movie ever. Trust me and see this film, it's hilarious, and knowledge of Troll 2 is completely not necessary, but I'm sure it adds to the enjoyment. Keeping it funny we have the comedy ExTerminators starring Heather Graham and Jennifer Coolidge as women who meet at anger management after rages involving the Ex's and it's pretty funny too.
We also have the Swedish film Patrik 1,5 / Patrik, Age 1.5, a romantic comedy following a gay couple going through the adoption process and Brotherhood a heartbreaking Danish neo-Nazi romance, both of which are s well worth seeing.
Recent Spirit Award nominee and war documentary Restrepo hits the shelves today, along with history centric Queen Elizabeth in 3D which focuses on Queen Elizabeth II coronation and Canadian connection, holiday fare The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation and the fourth Shrek film, Shrek Forever After.
And already out on DVD this weekend we had the December 4, 2010 releases of Twilight Saga: Eclipse plus swiftly aligned choice releases of music video compilation Twilight Saga: Music Videos and Performances from the Soundtracks Volume 1 and documentary Destination Forks: The Real World of Twilight.
