To be released next year, the film THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) just released a brother concept promotional poster. The poster was formed from Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung's
individual posters. On the left Chow Kit Lun stood with short hair and a gun in hand, fully armed with sunglasses covering his face. The backdrop was an armor car and the Middle East street scene; on the right Tse Ting Fung had blond curly hair, also armed heavily and with sunglasses. The tattoo on his arm could be clearly seen. The backdrop was the explosion in the Southeast Asia location.
Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin pointed out that the design concept hoped to deliver the delicate yet intense relationship between the brothers in the film. Ting Fung and Chow Kit Lun played a pair of brothers. Due to their family, the environment that they grew up in and how they grew up were very drastically different. One became the repeat offender in the slums while the other became the cop who captured international wanted criminals. On the poster Chow Kit Lun and Tse Ting Fung opposed each other with arms in hand, as the war between brothers was on the brink. Lam Chiu Yin said, "I feel that life has many adversities that we have no way of escaping. Every time facing the adversity is a war, so THE VIRAL FACTOR can be understood as the battle against the tides. It is happening everyday. As long as you persist and never give up, you have hope and a chance to turn it around."
