FOX scored an impressive (for Saturday) preliminary 2.2 rating with Adults 18-49 last night with UFC: Evans vs Davis from Chicago (featuring two other undercard Ultimate Fighting bouts). The live fights built smartly through the night by half hour: 8:00 (1.8), 8:30 (2.2), 9:00 (2.4) and 9:30 (2.6). Remember these numbers are certain to rise a few tenths in the official nationals (the west coast markets are undercounted in this live-to-all-time-zones telecast).
The last UFC fight also aired on FOX Saturday (on November 12, 2011) from 9-10 pm, which went up to a 3.0 in the official nationals.
Repeats mostly littered the air on the other broadcast networks. ABC averaged a 1.0 rating from 8-11 pm with Wipeout (1.1) and the ice-skating satire Blades of Glory (0.9). CBS also averaged a 1.0 in prime time with: Rules of Engagement (0.6), Mike & Molly (0.7), CSI (0.9) and 48 Hours Mystery (1.3).
NBC averaged a very weak 0.5 rating with Harry's Law (0.4) and U.S. Figure Skating (0.6) from 9-11 pm.
