I'm so thrilled that we are finally getting to see Micmacs / Micmacs à tire-larigot out in the theatre (May 28, 2010 for Toronto & Vancouver). I was won over by Jean-Pierre Jeunet instantly from seeing Delicatessen at the Paradise oh so many years ago. Since then we've had so much to enjoy from City of the Lost Children to the one that won over everyone: Amélie. Micmacs keeps the whimsy and cleverness of Amélie, but has a darker setting more along the lines of Delicatessen however thankfully curio instead of depressing. Can't wait!
