More Eclipse Stills

A few super new and some that have rolled out recently stills from the upcoming film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (to be released June 30, 2010), here they are in their hi res glory! See previous images from the film here. Mild-ish spoiler warning as the last still (after the Volturi one) is something I'm wish they hadn't shown in the trailer or as a still. But, in the interest of completeness I've included it for you enjoyment. One bone to pick here though is where is Victoria, our villianess? We've seen almost everyone else at this point but her.

Jacob & Bella
Shirts seem to be getting smaller, for everyone here! Always love to see Bella & Jacob together, even if it's they seem a little distant and brooding. It's a tough film for their friendship, but at least we get to see what some of the screen time is like!

Can we get a collective "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" Yes, we can. Great casting here, looking forward to all the Quileute time in the film.

Bella & Edward
The heat is on! The question is - where are they? Like the colour story but don't recognize the setting. Actually, this is totally a Jacob/La Push/New Moon colour story - so what's Edward doing there? Blurring the lines, or shading them perhaps

The (Male) Cullens
Love the colours here and the clothes, and I'm huge fan of the Cullen boys but ... why is it just the guys? Do they plan a surpirze party for Esme that I forgot. Cuz they sure look like they are planning, so why aren't the ladies there. But the shot is absolutely gorgeous, I'm doing my best to maintain silence and general denial of Jaspers hair.

The Volturi (Baddies, Part I)
This image was the one that really got me off my butt to remind me to read the book. I totally do not remember the Volturi being in the picture here, but look - there they are! Similar but slightly toned down styling from them from New Moon, and we get there regal and formalness juxtaposed to the urban gritty setting. Should be interesting.

The Newborns (Baddies, Part II)
As much as I love this gorgeous shot, I have to re-iterate what I stated above on why did they choose to show it here and in the trailer? Would this not have been a ridiculously gorgeous cinematic reveal in the film? I mean - we are all going to go see it in the theatre, aren't we? But, great to see Xavier Samuel (Newcastle, The Loved Ones) as Riley, he's getting a lot of focus as a big baddie here. But where, oh where is Victoria? Maybe the fact that there is a villainess is being kept a secret?
