Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!

Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday January 21, 2011!

In limited release this week we have our first Canadian film of the year with the powerhouse Incendies, which is on the short list for the Oscars in the foreign language category (final nominees to be announced Jan 25, 2011) and is also is on the 2010 Canada's Top Ten list. We have more highly acclaimed films with the animated film The Illusionist (from The Triplets of Belleville director Sylvain Chomet) and Attenberg from Greece. Rounding out the limited releases are more animation this week with the Japanese film Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and The Way Back based on a true story set in the Siberian gulag.

In wide release this week we have three releases, the romantic comedy No Strings Attached, slice of life on the economic downturn The Company Men and bollywood film Dhobi Ghat starring Aamir Khan (Ghajini (2008)).
