Alan Tang Kwok Wing earlier passed away. His family has been busy with his affairs. His funeral services reportedly have been set to start on the 14th at the Hong Kong Funeral Home. The next day after cremation his remains will be placed at Tsuen Wan Western Monastery.
His elder daughter Tang Yip Yan yesterday continued to post online. "Two days have passed, days have passed like years......for the concern of friends from everywhere, our family truly is silently appreciative! True love is seen in a tragedy......this was the fortune that Papa accumulated for us!......everyone please forgive us, we cannot courteously thank you right away. At this moment we truly have too much to do, we remember your good will at heart. Please forgive us."
Josephine Siao Fong Fong who worked with Tang Kwong Wing during the Cantonese film era also personally wrote an eulogy to remember thisformer partner. Sister Fong Fong wrote, "In the 60s I worked on a Cantonese film with Alan. His handsome image had many young female viewers under her spell; his heroics in particular was admirable. He left too suddenly! His significant other Janet and their two daughters were especially lovable. As soon as I think of them, my heart aches......my condolences are with them and I wish they take care of themselves. Fong Fong"
