Today is the first day of operations for ShowbuzzDaily, and we are its humble proprietors, Mitch Metcalf and Mitch Salem.  We've been in the entertainment business for a long time (you can find out more by clicking ABOUT US), and we originally started all this as a weekly e-mail service to industry insiders, with the latest box office predictions and analysis along with in-the-know film reviews.  We've realized from the response that there's wide interest in this kind of combined knowledge, and now we're bringing our insights to the internet at large.

Our goals are straightforward and focused.  Movies are both a serious art form and a multi-billion dollar worldwide business, and we're going to illuminate both sides of that coin.  At ShowbuzzDaily, you'll be able to find out both the film's story and the story behind the film.  We'll examine the filmmakers' work, and whether that work has paid off in the real world.
