The Jiang Wen directed 2010 New Year film LET THE BULLETS FLY yesterday unveiled new photos. Shao Bing's one eyed costume was full of untamable. Character kid Zhang Mi won an earring. They both the trendy men of the warlord era.

The film described a legendary story of the warlord era between highway robbers, swindlers and country gentlemen, thus art director William Chang Suk Ping created for the film's "11 Lo Han" costumes that had the style of a suit and rough line toughness. Always a tough guy, Shao Bing this time caught the most attention with his turtle shell patch over his left eye. It reminded people of a pirate in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. Although the one eyed costume was very cool but it was not as easy to get used to. Shao Bing said that at first looking with one eye was rather fun, but as he kept using only one eye he realized that his balance was affect. In order to quickly adjust to his one eyed look, Shao Bing kept the patch on during meals and sleep. "It was somewhat inconvenient, but it's better than falling off a horse while riding it."

Zhang Mi's costume in the film was much more elegant and had a rather modern trendy person feel. The most unique of his silver spike on his left era. Reportedly Zhang Mi's earring was Chang Suk Ping's work on the fly. He said, "When Uncle created my costume, he saw that my
ear was pierced and thought he might as well put a earring on this character to show individuality. At the time we tried many but felt they weren't suitable. Later I just brought over one of mine, the director thought it looked good and decided to use it."
