For the Independent Film and Television Alliance's 30th anniversary, 30 Best U.S. Independent
Films were selected. Taiwan director Ang Lee's BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON were on the list, the latter was even the only Chinese film.
