Film Fan Fridays for Friday September 17, 2010

Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!

Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday September 17, 2010 and it's still a bit of a quiet week the festival in town but we do have 5 releases which is a fair selection of films to choose from.

In limited release this week we have The Virginity Hit, which is directed by The Last Exorcism Huck Botko & Andrew Gurland and is one of two films with dual directors as well as one of two films that centres around the losing virginity. Perhaps that's a back to school tie in? Perhaps not.

In wide release this week we have 4 films to chose from, 2 of which are straight of the TIFF gates with Easy A starring Emma Stone in a high school set, new spin and self-reflective version of The Scarlet Letter and the crime/thriller The Town directed and starring Ben Affleck and about a heist crew with the FBI on their tail. Our second dual director film of the week is the animated film Alpha and Omega 3D and last up is Devil based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan about people stuck in an elevator with evil incarnate.
