Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!

Welcome to Film Fan Fridays for Friday September 3, 2010!

In limited release this week we have no release. Nada. Nutting. It's all wide this week and slim pickings at that! We only have 2 releases this week with romantic comedy Going the Distance, focusing on the attempt at making a long distance relationship work and stars real life couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long and is directed by Nanette Burstein (American Teen). Also out in release is the revenge flick starring Danny Trejo Machete, which I am looking forward a lot - ever since the faux-trailer in Grindhouse. Rounding out the releases is the already release midweek release of The American starring George Clooney.
