Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 continues its track somewhere between Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3 during the first Monday-Thursday period. Through the first seven days of release, Dark Knight leads with $239 million, followed by the final Harry Potter at $226 million and Spider-Man 3 at $182 million.
This weekend we are estimating a 63% decline for Harry Potter (to $63 million for the second weekend), compared to -53% (to $75 million) for Dark Knight and -61% (to $58 million) for Spider-Man 3.
