In the past seven days of cable programs, HBO's TRUE BLOOD leads the way in Adults 18-49 rating. The next ten spots in the chart is a cavalcade of white trash characters and concepts, from PAWN STARS to WWE wrestling. Additionally, USA's Thursday drama duo of BURN NOTICE and SUITS easily makes our list of hit programs (a hit is defined as a 1.4 young adult rating or higher).

The final season premiere of ENTOURAGE also makes our hit list (at a 1.4 rating), building smartly off CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM's more narrow 1.0 rating. Failing to make the list are TNT Monday's RIZZOLI & ISLES and THE CLOSER, which are billed as "cable's top dramas" in radio and TV spots. Those programs regular have 6-6.5 million viewers 2+ (justifying the promotional claim), but their advertiser-desired young adult demo is a low-1 rating. Translation: the audience is very skewed to 50+ crime fans.
