Yo Joe, Julie-a's and Ugly Truths: Canadian, North American & UK Box Office August 7, 2009 Weekend

Canadian and North American box office results this week are strikingly familiar, both having G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra in the number one spot and Julie & Julia taking #2. The 1-7 spots are almost exactly the same with the exception of a 3 to 6 swap with The Ugly Truth and G-Force. The travel thriller A Perfect Getaway makes it debut filling in the #7 slot. Head over to the UK and we have a different game, starting with The Ugly Truth at #1, followed by G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra at #2 and the resilient Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in #3. No ranking there for Julie & Julia as it's UK release isn't until September 11, 2009.
