Last year ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2009 (GA YAU HEI SI 2009) became Malaysia's box office champion. This year the film company valued ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL TOO 2010 (FA TIN HEI SI 2010)'s release and earlier sent Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Ronald Cheng Chung Kei to promote there in hopes of complete contact with local audience. The event even arranged for police cars to open the road for the promotional team, which was rare with Chinese films.
This promotional tour was very intense. The leads not only attended press conferences and local media interviews but also autograph sessions in the city. Some fans in order to obtain autograph session tickets camped out overnight. In order to not disappoint viewers, the leads in the last minute decided to add autograph amounts. Goo Jai and Kwan Yu even complied with every request, signing fans' clothing, arms or even hands. The fans could not be happier.
Goo Jai after the autograph session expressed that he has not promoted a film in Malaysia in years. When he learned that viewers waited overnight for tickets and were extremely passionate, they tried to please them all so everyone would have a happy New Year. The leads also followed local traditions and conducted a "Lo Sheng" ceremony in anticipation for the film's success. Ronald happily said, "Every time I am the happiest about 'Lo Sheng' because all the people are roaring with cheer. In addition this dish is very delicious, truly you can eat it and play with it." However the happiest had to be boss Wong Pak Ming, because ALL has already won an advanced screening box office battle. When the good news reached Malaysia, Kwan Yu happily said, "After we found out we were very happy, like getting a shot of confidence. I hope it will perform even better this year, continue the Lunar New Year comedy tradition and bring joy to even more people."
