Paul Chun Pui's mother Hung Mei (originally named Law Chun) passed away early this month at the age of 93. Law's funeral took place yesterday. Her sons Chun Pui, John Chiang Dai Wai and Derek Yee Tung Sing, grandchildren Benji Chiang Man Kit and Lesley Chiang Lai Man attended for the final farewell. Family and friends arrived yesterday morning for the funeral and the ceremony was Catholic. To prevent media disturbance, the funeral arranged for security to guard the altar and the crematorium gates so the funeral could take place smoothly. The remains left for the crematorium as five siblings carried their mother's photo to
the hearse.
Almost a hundred friends and family members including Fong Ping, Paw Hee Ching, Ting Yu and others went along. Some overseas friends and family came from abroad to bid Ms. Law farewell. Daughter in law Lee Lam lam was saddened as Chiang Dai Wai accompanied her away from the crematorium. Granddaughter Chiang Lai Man was all tears.
