If St Louis wins Thursday and forces a Game 7, it will be played Friday night at 8 pm ET. Friday night's forecast: mostly clear, low also in the mid-30s, and windier -- about 10 mph. The ratings for a Game 7 will be fine in St Louis and Dallas (a combined 3.34% of the country). But in the other 96%+ of the country without a home team, there will be little interest in changing plans to stay home. The lower television usage level on Friday night while probably shave about 1.5 18-49 rating points off the number. FOX just can't catch a break with this postseason. Neither can NBC potentially. The return of the final season of Chuck and the series debut of Grimm would face Game 7 (even a diminished Game 7 is still a decent rating), if it is necessary.
