New Moon Monday - Teen Choice Awards, Vampire Film News & More

Teen Choice Awards - Twilight Whirl Wins
Reports and images were flooding in all day about the winners of the Teen Choice Awards and I was mystified as it was airing this evening. How did they know? I'm so used to awards shows being live, but this one - not so much. Although the official site has not been updated with the winners, the word is that Twilight won 11 awards (which isn't possible if you check out the nominations list). Twilight won 10 awards and Robert Pattinson won an award for 'Choice Male Hottie' and although I'm sure that there is a Twilight effect in effect the award itself is all his own.

Twilight wins at the Teen Choice Awards (9)
Choice Movie: Drama
Choice Movie Actor: Drama - Robert Pattinson for Twilight
Choice Movie Actress: Drama - Kristen Stewart for Twilight
Choice Movie Villain: Cam Gigandet for Twlight
Choice Movie: Fresh Face Female: Ashley Greene for Twilight
Choice Movie: Fresh Face Male: Taylor Lautner for Twilight
Choice Movie: Liplock: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for Twilight
Choice Movie: Rumble: Robert Pattinson vs Cam Gigandet for Twilight
Choice Music: Soundtrack

Non-Twilight but Close to the Twi-Family winners (2)
Choice Male Hottie: Robert Pattinson
Choice Music Rock Track: Paramore "Decode" (on the Twilight soundtrack)

Didn't Win (1)
Choice Movie: Fresh Face Female: Nikki Reed for Twilight, but she lost out to Ashley Greene so the award stays in the Twi-Family.

Oddity (1)
It was nominated for Choice Movie: Romance, however this isn't on the winners list as a category. Choice Summer Movie Romance went to The Proposal. Unfortunately, the original nominations list is not longer visible.

Priest Poster
Priests? I thought we were talking vamps! We are! They two combine in the upcoming film Priest starring Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet. Check out the poster, which doesn't quite give any vampy feeling yet but I'm sure it will. Great colour story and intensity, look forward to seeing more! Priest is set to be released August 13, 2010.
