Quietly Funny & Persistantly Potter: Canadian, North American & UK Box Office July 31, 2009 Weekend

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince continues to make waves on the box office charts, topping the UK chart for the third straight week. In Canada it is narrowly edged out by Funny People, which takes top honours both here and in North America but took in a modest weekend gross. Bollywood film Love Aaj Kal lands on all three charts in it's first week. I'm dredged in jealously over our UK friends who had Coco avant Chanel open this week! We still have over a month to wait until its Canadian release on September 25, 2009.
