MONDAY NUMBERS: All Major Films Showing Typical Declines

Monday box office numbers are in, and it was a fairly typical performance for all recent releases.  Battle: Los Angeles was #1 Monday with $3.0 million, down 65% from Sunday.  This decline is in line with the 67% average decline in March for movies in their fourth day of release.  Also in their first Monday, Red Riding Hood declined 64% to #3 and $1.2 million, and the disastrous Mars Needs Moms declined 64% to $0.7 million and #5.

Rango, in its second Monday, declined 67% to $2.3 million and #2 (similar to the 69% average March decline in day 11).  The Adjustment Bureau declined 65% to $1.0 million and #4.
