Tuesday box office numbers show that Battle: Los Angeles is again performing normally mid-week (despite the tough reviews -- see Mitch Salem's above). Battle again was #1 Tuesday with $3.0 million, down a scant 1% from Monday. This slight drop is in line with the 1% average decline in March for movies in their fifth day of release. Also in their first Tuesday, the other films managed to grow their audience versus Monday but did not change their ranking. Red Riding Hood grew 15% to $1.4 million but stayed at #3. The hideous Mars Needs Moms somehow increased 27% to $0.9 million but stays at #5.Rango, in its second Tuesday, stays at #2, increasing 9% to $2.5 million (fairly similar to the 4% average March increase in day 12). The Adjustment Bureau increased 25% to $1.3 million, holding at #4.--Mitch Metcalf
