Expendables Stays Strong in Week 2 - Canadian, North American, UK & Australian Box Office August 20, 2010 Weekend

The Expendables stays strong keeping the #1 spot in Canada and North America and taking the #1 in the UK in it's 1st week. New releases includes Piranha 3D which lands #3 in Canada and #6 in North America and #4 in the UK - very impressive land for a 18A/R film. The parody Vampires Sucks also lands high in it's first week with a #4 debut in Canada and #2 in the US. The biggest difference in placement goes to The Lottery Ticket which landed #17 in Canada but #3 in North America. Salt also makes it's debut in the UK at #2 and in Australia takes #1 after Inception's 4 week run at #1.
