Pegasus Motion Pictures last night held its spring banquet, many in the industry came in support like Raymond Lam Fung, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and others.  Speaking of ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI)'s Hong Kong box office defeat at the hands of Eric Tsang Chi Wai's I LOVE HONG KONG 2012 (2012 NGOR OI HK HEI SEUNG GA HEI), ALL'S boss Raymond Wong Pak Ming ridiculed Chi Wai's movie for not having a Mainland market and stated that next year he will keep going.  He said, "Why not compete when we can?"

Last night many artists appeared and gave away big laisees so everyone was pleased.  Speaking of this year's ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 disappointing box office, Wong Pak Ming was not disappointed and stressed that it was expected.  He said, "This year has many film releases, so far its Hong Kong box office is 7 million.  However its Mainland, Singapore and Malaysia responses have been decent.  The Mainland box office has already passed 70 million and passing 100 million won't be hard."  Pak Ming stressed that it had profit, this time the word of mouth was even better than last year's ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2011 (JUI KEUNG HEI SI).  As for losing to Chi Wai for a third year in a row, he did not admit defeat.  "Chi Wai('s movie) isn't in the Mainland!  (He won in Hong Kong?)  Then congratulations to him!"

Speaking of Chi Wai revealing that he sent a text message to Wong Pak Ming but has not received any reply, he denied that and only blamed it on him not being in Hong Kong.  "I am not afraid that he would be mad, I am happy for Chi Wai!  Next Year I will keep making Lunar New Year films, why not compete when we can!"  Will he congratulate Chi Wai when he will return on the Lunar 8th, Wong Pak Ming joked, "Let's wait until he is really back first!"  Wong Pak Ming also revealed that this year he will invest on three films.  SAVING GENERAL YANG (YEUNG GA JEUNG) will be released at the end of the year.  In April Vincent Kok Tak Siu's NAM YUN YU YI FOOK (MEN ARE LIKE CLOTHES) will start production; however, the new film with old couple Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and Miriam Yeung Chin Wai will have to be negotiated again due to Chin Wa's pregnancy.

Seven months pregnant, Chen Wai Lam admitted that she has already gained over ten pounds and joked that her appetite was even greater than her husband's.  "I keep eating salty and sweet things, it's very hard to control."  Kelly said that now once her husband was full she would try to stop.  Does her son "Shrimp Dumpling Kid" know that he will soon be an older brother?  Kelly said, "He knows that Mama has a baby in her belly and knows where he came from.  He would even pretend to crawl back inside to come back out again!"  She revealed that during the Lunar New Year she brought "Shrimp Dumpling Kid" on Lunar New Year visits and her friends and family gave laisee to both "Shrimp Dumpling Kid" and the baby in her belly.  When will she be able to break even?  Kelly helplessly said, "It's impossible, I calculated that both of their lifetimes won't be on par with tonight, tonight I will give six figure in laisee."  Last night she wore flats, she joked that now she could not even see her feet so dressing pretty would be useless.  "Now I don't like to sit because standing up I look like a pregnant lady!"  Andy Lau Tak Wa earlier admitted that his wife Chu Lai Sin was carrying a little dragon maiden.  Kelly stated that she would like to make a match.  She said, "'Little Juicy Bun' matches her.  If not that I will tell 'Shrimp Dumpling Kid' to take the place!"  She joked that this time she was rich because Wa Jai's daughter will have a lot in dowry.

Ng Kwan Yu was linked to Winnie Yu Tseng years ago.  Last night Kwan Yu appeared at the spring banquet and became the focus.  Recently Yu Tseng and Pansy Ho Chiu King were caught holding hands in Europe.  Kwan Yu coldly responded, "I didn't see the news, I don't know.  As long as they are happy it's fine.  It's got nothing to do with me.  Don't ask about other people."  She joked that she and her daughter constantly held hands too.

As for a dragon baby, she responded, "I have to rest for half a year before even trying, but I still have two movies on hand."  Kwan Yu admitted her body was like an animal's, one day without a child was like ten.  As for advice from her good friend Andy Lau Tak Wa, she said, "I can handle my own deal.  Telling him to raise me too sounds more like it."  As for Louis Koo Tin Lok recently he has been working on his new film DRUG WAR (DUK JIN) in Tianjin.  Goo jai said, "The low temperature there was seven degrees below zero (Celsius), we still have awhile on the shoot."  Speaking of ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012's mediocre Hong Kong box office, he hoped that next time will be even better.  Actors have to do their part.  As for whether he will work on another Lunar New Year film next year it will depend on whether the boss will invest.

[2012.01.20] FOR LOUIS KOO AND KELLY CHEN LUNAR NEW YEAR IS A BIG DEAL AT HOME

Lynn Xiong, Kelly Chen, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu and other ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 stars appeared on a TVB Entertainment News program as well
courtesy of takungpao.com

Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Kelly Chen Wai Lam appeared on Cable Entertainment News Lunar New Year program and had a Lunar New Year meal with the anchors.  Goo Jai even pan fried New Year cakes and turnip cakes.  At first he was a little clumsy, burning a few pieces because he had the heat on too high.  Later Kelly gave him some advice and he got more and more familiar.

Speaking of their Lunar New Year family traditions, Goo Jai said that his family was very traditional.  On the Lunar New Year's Eve they had to worship and bathe with pummelo leaves, on the Lunar New Year he had to say New Year greetings to his parents.  On the Lunar 2nd they would have the first meal of the year and pick a lucky time for worship.  The schedule was tighter than a production's.  He continued, "Every year during the Lunar New Year visits, my relatives' children would play with me.  If I made a wuxia film that year I was done for, everyone would treat me like I really knew kung fu, grab me and hit me."  Kelly revealed that Shrimp Dumpling Kid already knew how to make the New Year greeting gesture but not how to say "Gung Hei Fat Choi" yet.  She said it was almost time to teach him.  Kelly also said that she would cut Shrimp Dumpling Kid's hair, but she was reluctant to cut it too short because long hair matched the shape of his face.  For the child to sit still for the hair cut, Kelly had to use cartoons, books and even the vacuum cleaner because he did not like to see hair.  Thus every time she cut his hair she would take two days.

Trendy mother Kelly Chen Wai Lam in ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI) played a photographer.  Because it was her first comedy and the character had potential, she thought it was a lot of fun.

Kelly in the film in order to coax Louis Koo Tin Lok into being her nude model was dressed like Lara Croft in one moment and a beer girl in another.  Because Kelly was already pregnant during the shoot, her belly began to grow.  However she had to dress up so costumes had to have special arrangements.  Kelly said, "After trying on all the costumes, no one realized that I was pregnant."  Speaking of working together, Kelly pointed out that they truly set of a lot of spark.  "In one scene, Goo Jai only wore nude shorts.  I had to cover him up with my head while taking his pictures.  It was both awkward and very funny.  Seeing his body I really wanted to touch it, haha."

In addition, Kelly will sing the film theme song HUG JOY (PO HEI).  Kelly revealed that during its recording, "Mini Juicy Bun" was very excited as well.  "During the recording 'Mini Juicy Bun' kept kicking me as if he heard the beat and wanted to dance.  I hope he would be more active when he grows up and not to be too quiet.  The best would be for him to like sports, kung fu would be good too."  Because the theme song is about embrace,  Kelly said that the person who she would like to embrace of course was Shrimp Dumpling Kid.  Everyday she definitely would embrace him.  As for her husband, she said that sometimes they would embrace at home for no specific reason, which felt very romantic.

[2012.01.18] SANDRA NG JOKES THAT SHE IS TOO OLD FOR ANOTHER CHILD

courtesy of takungpao.com

Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam), Chapman To Man Jat earlier promoted their Lunar New Year film ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI).  Co-star Kelly Chen Wai Lam became pregnant during the shoot.  With many female artists' good news in the business, would Kwan Yu plan for a Dragon baby?  Kwan Yu said that a good friend once recommended her to visit a Chinese medicine practitioner to recover but not for having a child; she joked that Lee Lam Lam would be her target.  She said, "I am too old, I have too much pressure, back then I succeeded after trying for four months.  During the pregnancy I lost most of Calcium and Ossein, losing the weight took me two years."

Does her daughter want a companion?  Kwan Yu joked that Peter Chan Ho Sun used to lie to her daughter that she had a little sister.  Now Kwan Yu often asked her daughter whether she knew her "little sister" was in the Mainland or Thailand?  Kwan Yu said that she thought about a surrogate or adoption, but adoption took a long time and she had limited energy.

Would Hung Doi Lam have a child?  She said that she still has not made enough money.  She thought girls should save more money first.  In the future if she did not work she could have more of a say.  When asked whether Aaron Kwok Fu Sing was chauvinistic and did not permit her to talk, she said no.  They got along like ordinary people.  Lynn said that in the future when she will wed she absolutely will not sneak around.  She thought that a joyous event should not be hidden and hoped that everyone would wish them well and accept them.  She liked children but she already had two dogs at home.  Were the dogs' last names Kwok?  She joked that for now they were still Xiong.  Later it would depend on what the last name of "Papa" will be.  Earlier she brought her parents to see Sing Sing in concert, like meeting the parents.  Were her parents
satisfied with this "son in law"?  Lynn immediately awkwardly stated that her parents had a lot of fun but did not have much comment. Lynn and Ah Jat in the film had a kiss scene.  She said that it was just a peck, but she could not accept bed scenes.  Before her intimate scenes she did not have to report to Sing Sing in advance.

Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam), Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Chapman To Man Jat, Raymond Wong Pak Ming and others two nights ago went to the film ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI) premiere.  Also on hand were many guest stars like Ronald Cheng Chung Kei.  Coincidentally his wife Sammie Yu Sze Man was the host.  When everyone was on the stage for a group photo, he did not appear.

Kwan Yu pushed up three inches of "career line".  She explained that because her character was named "Sung Chau Bo" so she had to coordinate.  Did she add pads?  Chi Tan praised her and said that she did not need to.  Kwan Yu told him to stop pretending to be naive.  Chi Tan joked, "I am not (Peter) Chan Ho Sun, how would I know?  Today I will call him!"  Kwan Yu again said that for this shoot she had to at least add two more pads.  She did not understand why she did not have a figure but constantly had to act like she did.

Kelly admitted that she did not want to dress too maternity so she wore a fiery red dress and heels.  Her belly recently has grown very rapidly.  For balance actually she should not wear heels that were too high.  Now "Mini Juicy Bun" is already more than six months.  Was Goo Jai her guardian?  He said of course, he was responsible for helping her up and down as well as what was in Kelly's purse.  Kelly took out a pineapple puff, saying that she was prepared in case she was hungry.  With the dragon dance and the confetti cannon, was Mini Juicy Bun scared?  Kelly said, "The confetti cannon scared me, (Did he kick you?)  I can't feel him unless it's very quiet, but he is constantly kicking me like after meals and sleeping.  He's even stronger than King Nikochan (Lau Sing)."

As for Lynn she said that she did not know her rumored boyfriend Aaron Kwok Fu Sing was about to call his horse CALL OF LOVE, but thought that the song was very classic.  Would it be better if it was named after her?  Lynn said that it could not, it would be better if it was called Aaron Kwok.  Would naming it after her be very sweet?  Lynn said she would worry about it when it happened, as it would feel very severe.  She too wanted to watch him lead the horse, she would be willing to take photos for him.

[2012.01.15] LYNN XIONG LONGS FOR KELLY CHEN'S HAPPINESS

courtesy of on.cc
courtesy of takungpao.com

A cable program invited recently Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) and Raymond Wong Pak Ming to guests on the "Shall we cook?" segment.  They personally made Lunar New Year delicacy.  Hung Doi Lam said that she did not mind others calling her "Sing Soh" and stated that she hoped to be as fortunate as Kelly Chen Wai Lam.

Wong Pak Ming said that ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI) was Kelly's first film after marriage.  He even boasted, "Working on my stuff has an advantage, as soon as you do something joyous happens."  Lynn was asked whether she did.  Lynn said, "Not yet, I hope to be as fortunate as Kelly."

Donnie Yen Chi tan in ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 was in a band.  He due to the story had to be "Eason Chan Yik Shun possessed" as he reprised his music award show behavior.  Chi Tan's look and gestures won a lot of applause.  He even uploaded the "award photo" online in support of the film company's recent promotion of the message of love and left a message that he really "loved" film.

Speaking of being a film industry hot property today, Chi Tan recalled almost being bankrupted.  "It's hard to forget before and after the 97 financial storm, I funded BALLISTIC KISS (SAT SAT YUN TIU TIU MO) myself.  The production cost was not even US$500,000, but it bombed at the box office and cleared the table with one shot!  I have been when I only had 100 in my bank account, at a dead end and had to borrow from a loan shark."  Luckily he persisted and was able to succeed.

[2012.01.13] KELLY CHEN GIVES LOUIS KOO'S FIGURE A FULL GRADE

The Kelly Chen Wai Lam and Louis Koo Tin Lok starred Lunar New Year film ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2012 (BAK SING PO HEI) will be released in the Lunar New Year.  They along with boss Raymond Wong Pak Ming were interviewed earlier.  Chen Wai Lam was already pregnant while working on ALL'S, was Kelly's husband worried?  She said that her husband asked her about it.  He knew that the shoot was only two weeks long and it was a comedy without any fight scene, so he did not object.

Kelly said that in one scene she had to poke Goo Jai's muscle with a pen and praised how fit Goo Jai was.  Normally he would train with weights when he was not in a scene.  He was very hard working.  How would she grade Goo Jai's figure?  Kelly said 100 points and admitted that she liked men with muscles.  Did her husband have muscles?  She joked, "When we started dating he did, now he is a blob."  Has she asked her husband to exercise?  Kelly said, "No, my own figure isn't very pretty.  However my husband watches himself, he wouldn't be too fat or have a belly."

Koo Tin Lok said that this year was his fourth year of making a Lunar New Year film.  In the film Goo Jai had a topless scene to show off his masculinity.  In the film he was completely naked, but on the set he
wore shorts.  Was Goo Jai embarrassed?  He said, "I wasn't, but I wasn't used to it on the first day."  At the time Goo Jai did not have time to work out first, but he has always had abdominal muscles.  He just did not
have enough time to pump them up.  While working in ALL'S, Goo Jai knew that Kelly was already pregnant.  Was he worried?  He said, "A little, we had to go to a construction site and a forest for location shoots.  I was worried that she would fall, instead I saw how relaxed and professional she was."

Wong Pak Ming this year again faces Eric Tsang Chi Wai during the Lunar New Year.  He hoped that everyone would be happy and said that he was confident this year he would beat Chi Wai.
