EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DONG SING SAI JAU 2011) two nights ago held its premiere.  Aside from director Jeff Lau Chun Wai, actors Eason Chan Yik Shun, Karen Mok Man Wai, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Huang Yi and Stephy Tang Lai Yun attended.  Speaking of TVB and the five major record labels breaking ice, has Eason received any TVB job?  He said that he still has not received any notice and even jokingly took out his cell phone to call Universal executive to ask.  Then he said that the executive was in the bathroom.  As for TVB awards would still go to contract singers first, he stated in the same manner that he had to call Elaine Lok Yi Ling for an understanding.  Two nights ago TVB's coverage team still did not interview him.

As for Rose Chan Ka Wun in Hengdian was suspected to be the victim of Benny Chan Ho Sun and Joe Ma Tak Chung's molestation.  Did Eason feel bad for her?  He said, "I have no feeling, sudden malfunction."  Mok Man Wai also said that she did not know the details and it was hard to talk about it just from photos.  However she and Eason on the flight have read the related reports but did not discuss the matter.  Huang Yi has worked with Chan Ka Wun on a film.  She said that her impression was she was a little girl, very innocent and cute.  She worked and trained very hard and seriously.  Did she feel bad for her?  She said that she really was uncertain but would call to console her.

Tang Lai Yun next month will work in Hengdian.  Was she worried about her personal safety?  She said, "I am not afraid because this type of incidents are hard to expect.  In addition I would have assistants to keep me company.  I also rarely go out at night.  After dinner I would go back to the hotel.  However I also feel that girls sometimes need to shut the gate, otherwise people would sneak in.  After drinking a lot of matter are beyond control.  (Alex Fong Lik Sun does not have to worry much then?)  He is constantly working in the Mainland too.  (Do you worry about him?)  I do, many pretty girls are there."

The Jeff Lau Chun directed comedy EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DONG SING SAI JAU 2011) two days ago held its premiere in Beijing.  Key actors Karen Mok Man Wai, Eason Chan Yik Shun, Huang Yi, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Sitar Tan Weiwei, William So Wing Hong and others attended.  Lau Chun Wai stated that the new version's warmth portion was in memory of Gor Gor Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing.  The entire cast also gave Cheung Kwok Wing's "true heart person" plaque in the old version to the director.  The melodramatic atmosphere touched Chan Yik Shun, Chung Chun To, Huang Yi and others.

Huang Yi said that her ears benefited from working on this film.  She revealed that Chan Yik Shun even picked up a random lid, placed it on his leg for a drum.  He was quite a genius.  Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) "led" a mosquito eradication team that even became a sight to behold on the set.  Every night, Fong Cho Ming would lead So Wing Hong and other actors to eradicate bugs and had all kinds of fun doing so.  He even commanded everyone, "More bugs this way, charge!"  Huang Yi was shocked to see how sharp his sense of smell was.

EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DONG SING SAI JAU 2011)'s actors Karen Mok Man Wai, Huang Yi and Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) recently appeared in Shanghai to attend the new film press conference and premiere and talk about the production.  Huang Yi pointed out that she had as many as 18 exaggerated and forward costumes, thus this production was not easy at all.  She has never been as daring as wearing one of the "Heavenly Goddess" costume.  She pointed out that the costume was only put together with a few pieces of diamond shaped cloths and was very revealing.  Huang Yi's costumes in the past were very conservative, thus this time she was truly very nervous.

Actually Huang Yi was not afraid that the "Heavenly Goddess" costume was too revealing but she thought that walking around on the set like that and communicating with the director and actors were very strange.  She was also afraid that she was too fat to look good in it.  She even revealed that she brought a bath robe and wine to the set.  The robe was to "cover" her up during breaks and the wine was for courage.  She felt lucky that the "Heavenly Goddess costume" became her weight loss motivation as she successfully lost several kilograms.

Karen Mok Man Wai yesterday promoted her new film EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DUNG SING SAI JAU 2011).  Karen still has not watched the film but many friends who have said that this was a madcap comedy with a touching ending.  EAST MEETS WEST 2011 will open on November 24.  Eason Chan Yik Shun and Mok Man Wai in the film had many unique costumes.  In one scene Karen appeared in a sexy costume and danced at night with Eason.  Eason even picked up Karen.  The scene was very romantic.  In another scene Eason who was trapped inside a metal cage exchanged looks with Karen who was outside the cage.  Before the cameras started rolling Eason sang and danced inside the cage to entertain himself.  During the shoot Karen immediately ran over and kissed Eason, catching Eason off guard.  Karen admitted that she did not feel awkward because the dancing and the kissing were required in the story.  In the film she played a left over girl who no one wanted.  Since someone rare came along to love her, of course she would be over the moon.  Eason said that all the actors in the film were singers.  Everyone would often sing and dance.  He and Karen have already known for years.  During the shoot they had a lot of fun.

The film EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DUNG SING SAI JAU 2011) yesterday promoted at a shopping center.  Director Jeff Lau Chun Wai and actors Karen Mok Man Wai, Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Eason Chan Yik Shun, Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Aelx Fong Lik Sun and Soler attended.  The newlywed Karen at the event often whispered and laughed with others.  At the end he even gave away wedding candy to her artist friends on the stage and the audience.

When asked about the difference after marriage, Karen admitted that the feeling was great and said that after returning to Hong Kong she still has not seen many friends.  Thus she revealed that on December 18 she will host a giant party and invite over 200 friends.  She said that it was like planning another wedding again.  She said that when she gave away wedding candy on the stage, the director thought that she had a child so soon.  As for motherhood, Karen said, "I don't have any deliberate plan, my husband and I have an understanding."  She said that work has already been scheduled until before next New Year.  "I have so much work that I don't dare to think about it."  Karen said that she would make time to spend time with her husband while working and revealed that they would celebrate Christmas in Germany.

Ekin denied that he and girlfriend Yoyo Mung Ka Wai will wed next year underwater.  He said that since it was not true he did not have much to say.  He thought that while he has been working in Beijing, it was funny how the news that he did not hear about promoted for himself.  He said, "If I have good news I definitely would tell everyone."  He joked that the tabloid rumor was quite creative, but he said that a "contrarian" and would not do something because someone else said it.  Instead he would do something that no one would talk about.  As for plans, he said, "I have plans, but everyone is different.  No one's would be exactly the same."  Without releasing a record in awhile, she said that currently he would like to focus on work and hope to release a new record soon.

Chan Yik Shun said that making this film was a lot of fun.  Although it was very tiring it was worth it.  Always talkative he said that he said that he had a little trouble with a scene in which he had to rapidly and clearly say his lines.  He even said, "I normally stutter, very slow."

Yesterday EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DUNG SING SAI JAU 2011)'s nine leads Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Eason Chan Yik Shun, Karen Mok Man Wai, Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), William So Wing Hong, Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Huang Yi, Tan Weiwei's individual posters were unveiled.  Each character had an eight Chinese word slogan that revealed the character's uniqueness.  Chan Yik Shun was dressed in a suit and was describe on the poster as "gentleman crocodile, either good or evil", which stressed the character's split personality.  Mok Man Wai dressed with a lot of style.  "Left over Fairy, failure is not an option".  According to the earlier announced story, each character would be mortals descended from Heaven.  As for the relationships between characters, the posters did not reveal anything.

The Jeff Lau Chun Wai directed film EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DUNG SING SAI JAU 2011) will open on November 17.  The film also had many stars, including the just married Karen Mok Man Wai.  Karen said that the most memorable scene was working with a child.  In it she had to "scare" the child and threaten him with a drill.  She has worked with children before, but this was the first time that she had to get rough with one.  She was afraid that she would hurt him or make him cry uncontrollably.  With the sharp drill bit, she was afraid that he would get hurt during the struggle.  Karen said that when she watched the play back of her performance, she thought she was despicable.

Karen after the shoot compensated with a big bag of candy for the child actor.  She was the most afraid that scarring the child for life, which she would have to be fully responsible for.  Luckily children now matured early and after the shoot they played together.  He was not afraid of her from the shoot.  When she gave him candy, the child hug her and said thank you.  Karen was asked when she would like to be a mother?  She said that right now she would like to spend some time as a couple first.  When she would become a mother she definitely would not a strict one.  Instead she was afraid that her children would turn the drill on her.

The Jeff Lau Chun Wai directed film EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (DONG SING SAI JAU 2011) gathered several dozen stars in its cast.  Male lead Eason Chan Yik Shun in the film played a businessman.  Despite his shape dressed appearance his every move had a comedic flavor.  Female lead Karen Mok Man Wai looked cool like a sassy girlfriend.  Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) who was in the original EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES (DONG SING SAI JAU) this time in EAST MEETS WEST 2011 continued his humorous and mischievous image.  although he no longer had the initial film's "boot in the head" look, he had a Bob head that looked like Watermelon Taro, floral print shirt and bell bottomed pants 80s retro look that remained rather funny.

EAST MEETS WEST 2011 had nothing to do with the previous film.  In it Eight Heavenly Gods due to a dispute were exiled to become a group of mortals and thus leading to a series of funny stories.  The star studded cast included Chan Yik Shun, Mok Man Wai, Chung Chun To, Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Huang Yi, Tan Weiwei, Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Yang Mi, Jon Lee Chung Sing, William So Wing Hong, Stephy Tang Lai Yun and Alex Fong Lik Sun.  Many scenes were rather classic, in which Mok Man Wai and Chan Yik Shun had a John Woo (Ng Yu Sum) styled face off with thermometers, Fong Cho Ming stood behind Tan Weiwei with an evil grin and bad intention, and others.
