Law Chung Him's play IT'S OH SO QUEER began its five show run two nights ago.  Him Jai recently in the Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) film HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI) played a maniac killer.  Him Jai said that he did not resist playing a villain and thus instead the villain role was a lot of fun and challenging.  As for playing a gay character in this play, he has always wanted to play the role.  He also hoped in the future to have even more chances to play even more evil and bad characters.

Jacquelin Chong

Jennifer Tse Ting Ting, Jacquelin Chong Man Si, Law Chung Him, Carol Yeung Chi Yiu and Jeana Ho Pui Yu yesterday attended a HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI) promotion.  Recently her mother Deborah Li was rumored to be missing her grandsons so much that she kept playing with children on the street.  Ting Ting said that everyone kept asking her this question.  She said that her mother only thought that the children was cute.  Did she feel that being unable to see her grandsons was torture for Lai Goo?  She said, "Not really, she is happy now."  Speaking of Lai Goo's upcoming 60th birthday, would she celebrate with her brother Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and her nephews?  She said that she would celebrate, but her brother would have to arrange whether to bring her nephews.  She said that her mother was a happy person and would not be heart broken from missing her grandsons.  Would Ting Ting give a son in law to Lai Goo?  She laughed and said fine, as she would wrap up boyfriend Andy On Chi Kit like a present to give to her.

The film HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI) will open on the 27th.  Yesterday the film's directors Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) and Wong Jing accepted an interview.  Yip Lim Sum pointed out that the original idea was spending several hundred thousand for a poster at the Causeway Bay MTR station, but the MTR pointed out that Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Law Chung Him's "ghost looks" were too horrifying on the poster and declined.  The film company later changed the poster but was still rejected.  Finally the poster only had the film title but it was still turned down.

Wong Jing said that the MTR in the past has accepted foreign horror film advertising and this time was under Chinese film discrimination suspicion.  He hoped that the Hong Kong Film Development Council would be able to write to the MTR for standard and guidance.  Wong Jing guessed that the rejection was because the company accepted its loss, even if it did not approve it would not be in trouble.  Yip Lim Sum also said that the posters at bus stops and on buses reduced their horror level and were adjusted.  Wong Jing yesterday introduced a new Jing Girl Tong Fei and would support her in the support.  Tong Fei is a 21 year old Beijing University communications student who took part in TREASURE HUNT (MO GA JI BO) and HONG.  Later she will star in the new film SIU GUNG JUNG MO LUM (LAUGHTER KUNG FU ROCKS THE MARTIAL ART WORLD).  He hoped to turn her into the position between Angelababy and Chau Sau Na.

HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI)'s actors Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Law Chung Him and others yesterday promoted with a yacht party.  A magazine yesterday claimed that Chrissie and Avis were in a cooling period due to Him Jai's old flame Theresa Fu Wing and that they have already been apart for two months.  Yesterday she denied the break up rumor, but got teary eyed when she talked about Avis.  Chrissie even blamed Him Jai's unsuccessful relationship for dragging her down.

Chrissie said, "If he likes to be the driver so far I would gladly let him!  I thought it was a little strange, usually I would be prepared but this time I only found out from my manager, I am not used to it!"  Would she reduce points from Avis?  She replied, "Later I will have to work on a television series in the Mainland, during this period we will be able to calm down."  Then she said, "I am not talking about him, today I seemed to be possessed!"  Chrissie said with tear in her eyes.

Would she give a chance to her boyfriend?  She said, "I would, ultimately when we have been together for awhile we don't have to say so much!"  When would Chrissie resume her boyfriend's identity, she beg the media for mercy.  Did her boyfriend break her heart?  Chrissie said, "I am still in contact with my boyfriend, but we are getting along like friends." How would she be moved?  She stressed that she would not.  However, when asked whether their relationship was a closed file, she immediately stressed that the file was in progress and joked that her next case has not been opened yet.  Was she upset at Theresa?  She said that
the matter had nothing to do with Theresa, it was not an issue with who was in the car.  She said, "Only the car was so small that it would be very crammed!"  Theresa's old flame Him Jai said that he has not read the
report so he was not at liberty to respond.

Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Law Chung Him worked together three times.  Although this time they continued to play a couple, but supernatural elements were added for the Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed segment in the new film HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI).  In it Chrissie and Him Jai hated each other's guts and even wished the other could die sooner.  Chrissie said, "Earlier in MARRIAGE WITH A LIAR (FUN CHIN SI OI) we were to die for, now we are gross to death!"

In the film Him Jai would brutally kill Chrissie.  Despite not lacking violent and bloody scenes, they did not have any abuse scene.  Earlier Him Jai and Theresa Fu Wing were involved in similar violent event.  Was he worried that the past would be brought up again?  Him Jai admitted that he was not because this time he played the villain.  Instead he worried that his performance was not wild or evil enough, as long as he was able to play the character well then he was fine.  Him Jai also revealed that when he took the role he just ran into the incident last month.  Did the director feel he had potential?  Him Jai said, "He wanted me to try playing a villain long ago and asked me to play wilder.  However he also worried that the incident would affect me.  I knew I had to meet his demands even more.  (Were you afraid of the audience typecasting you?)  I didn't mind, because the character was like that.  If everyone still thought I was Mr. Nice Guy afterward, then I would have failed instead and my job would be affected."  Speaking of Fu Wing being suspended while he had job after job, did he feel different strokes for different folks?  Him Jai clarified that she was not suspended but he did not want to comment on the company's internal matter.  As for Fu Wing's public apology, Him Jai said, "That stuff is in the heart!  (Were you more obedient?)  No, I have always respected the company.  (Any contact?)  No.  (Are you friends when you see each other again?)  In the heart!  (Would she show her support?)  I left it for the company to handle."

Chrissie said that this time she did not have any sexy performance but still had a "shocking" photo.  In a scene after her death, the film company shot in a funeral home, her "photo" appeared but she was not on hand.  Friends sent the photo to her.  Chrissie said, "After seeing it I had chills in my heart and immediately erased it, but they sent it back to me.  The director didn't give me any laisee, luckily I asked for one later.  (Would you show your boyfriend?)  No, when I sleep next to him he might get scared."  Chrissie also said that she would show up in an ugly appearance and hoped that everyone would be scared to see her again after seeing the movie.

Samantha Ko Hoi Ning, Jacquelin Chong Si Man and Edelweiss Cheung Shu Nga) yesterday modeled for a fashion label.  Chong Si Man later will work with Law Chung Him on the Wong Jing and Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed horror film HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI).  Speaking of Theresa Fu Wing revealing that Him Jai got rough with her, Jacquelin supported Him Jai as a gentle guy.  Would they have any chance of "electrocution"?  She said that she was not worried.  Speaking of making horror films, she said that earlier something strange happened at home, the shower curtain was pulled for no reason and the dog could not move.  Even her sister said that she saw shadows.

Law Chung Him's image plummeted after Theresa Fu Wing revealed that he was seeing four women at once and got rough with her.  Two nights ago he attended the film HONG KONG GHOST STORIES (MANG GWAI OI CHING GOO SI) press conference and kept his distance from female artists, in particular Chrissie Chau Sau Na who he has been linked to before.  She and her boyfriend Avis were rumored to be on the rocks, two nights ago she also clarified that their relationship has not changed.

Two nights ago the press conference took place in a Sai Kung elementary school.  Attendees included Chau Sau Na, Law Chung Him, Carol Yeung Chi Yiu, Nina Paw Hee Ching, Timmy Hung Tin Ming, Charmaine Fong Ho Man and New Jing Girl Tong Fei.  Chau Sau Na just returned from making a movie in Malaysia.  She said that during the shoot she accidentally burnt her kneecap.  After returning to Hong Kong her boyfriend Avis took her to see a doctor, but because the wound was not properly treated it was infected.  She worried that it would leave a scar.  While she was away, her boyfriend was accused of meeting girls all over.  She said that she was not mad at him and they trusted each other.  She also have met his female friends and knew nothing happened.  Did she ask her boyfriend to end his relationship with Fu Wing?  She immediately said, "They aren't friends, how would he?"  She jokingly asked her boyfriend to stay out of the sun to avoid low blood sugar, which might attract many "bees".

Him Jai again worked with Chrissie.  He said that he was not afraid of rumors because he was upstanding.  He also was not afraid of Chrissie's boyfriend visiting the set, as he would watch himself off the set to keep from inconveniencing others.  However as soon as Fu was mentioned, he already said that he did not want to discuss that.  Due to his poor image, his advertisement was sabotaged in Guangzhou.  Law Chung Him said that he knew about it and would not think about anything else.  Right now he would only cherish every job opportunity.  Would he remain celibate from now on?  He said, "It's not celibacy, but focus on work in
the long run."  This time in the film his character was also a "jerk".  Was he afraid that it was too close to home?  He pointed out that it might not be how it would turn out.

Carol recently was accused of dating DaDa Chen Jing's former boyfriend Wong Chung Hiu and even stealing someone else's boyfriend.  She clarified that she absolutely did not steal anyone's boyfriend.  That day they just went shopping together.  However he praised that Wong Chung Hiu was a nice guy who taught her a lot of things.  DaDa took a jab at her saying that stealing boyfriend was like reading an old book.  Carol immediately spoke up for Wong Chung Hiu and said that he was a person and not a book.
