He said that during the Japan earthquake he was in Tokyo. He grabbed his dog and ran to the streets. He said that now the place lacked water and many resources. Later he will return to Japan to help.

Hu Bing said, "Norika Fujiwara and I will fund raise for disaster relief. I will bring some materials from Hong Kong to Japan. Because many supermarkets in Japan are out of stock, I will bring something for friends." was he worried about radiation? He said, "If I am not worried about radiation it would be untrue, but I have to be a responsible man. Something has to be done. Although my parents don't want me to go, I will go." Hu Bing said that Sendai had anti radiation suits for them. Now he will first return to Tokyo then plan to go to Sendai. However many after shocks occurred in recent days and he did not want to trouble others there. He also said that his home in Japan due to the earthquake was somewhat damaged and should cost a few tens of thousands to repair. However Tokyo properties were very safe and could withstand class ten earthquakes.

Chan Ka Wun recently has been linked to Raymond Lam Fung. She said that she paid attention online to news about Lam Fung and heard that he was hospitalized. She wished him a speedy recovery and said that Lam Fung was very optimistic. Was Lam Fung afraid of taking pictures with girls now? She said, "I don't know whether I would have a chance to work with him again, only then would we pose for pictures together." Tse Ting Ting was asked whether she knew about her brother Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi's wedding photo leak. She said that she did not see them. Her brother did not show them to her and she did ont ask her brother to. Maybe they thought they were very private. The event was related to alcohol, she said that boyfriend Andy On Chi Kit and mother were all strong drinkers. Sometimes they would drink together.

Yesterday the casts attended the 35th Hong Kong International Film Festival press conference and shared their production experience.

Ha Man Jik on stage said that he was very happy to work on this film, during which her state of mind also matured. She admired very much the director's understanding of women's state of mind. Ng Ka Lai said that sometimes she would come up the lines with other actresses. For example the line with "gutter cleaning" came from her and several actresses. She felt that women sometimes would feel lonely too and needed to "cleaned". She worried whether the dialogue would pass inspection but it did not have any foul language. Did Ng Ka Lai have such a need? She said that she did not and later joked that she did. She pointed out that the director wrote lyrics for the movie theme song that was very fitting. Sandy Lam Yik Lin performed it. Many praised it after hearing it.

Ng Ka Lai was asked whether she thought about going off the rail in real life. She said of course she could not because people would talk if she was recognized. In addition she was a public figure and could do so even less. Ha Man Jik heard from friends that the Mainland and Taiwan also had these stores. Earlier Chan Wai Ting also observed one in Hong Kong. However she could not accept it. She joked that even if she went it would not have gigolos who were as handsome as Chan Wai Ting.

Yip Shuen dressed up for the occasions. Her chest had a red mark, which she explained as irritation from being too tired. She said that in the film she had many intimate scenes with Ha Man Jik. In one scene as soon as she finished her lines, she cried. She said that in the film she
had to hold Ha Man Jik, kiss her and coax her. It was truly quite a huge challenge. Would she turn bisexual after the shoot? She joked, "I would think of her and have loving feeling." Who had a better figure between her and Ha Man Jik? She said of course Ha Man Jik. She also said that she was under a lot of pressure while making this film, in particular getting intimate with women. Ha Man Jik after learning that her figure was praised said returned the favor. She also praised that Yip Shuen's performance touched her. Yip Shuen started at TVB, would she return home to make a series? She said that now with film work she would not talk about that. Was she avoiding rumors with new TVB owner Chan Kwok Keung? She said that it was not true and she would not respond.

Chan Wai Ting said that this time the intimate scenes felt like fight scenes, physically challenging. Was he afraid that his girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin would be jealous? He said that his girlfriend was used to major events so she would not be. Would he accept his girlfriend's intimate scenes? He said that he would understand, actors needed to open their hearts.

Wong Chau Sun, Yam Yin Chai, Cheung Ho Yi and other yesterday attended the Hong Kong International Film Festival press conference to promote their new film PUNISHED. Wong Chau Sun in the film played a rich man. The host asked whether it was difficult. He joked that it was not. Was he very obedient of the director's orders? He said that it was not about being obedient and joked that only talented actors would be able to accomplish it. However after the event Chau Sun left without any interview.

Yam Yin Chai in the film played Chau Sun's bodyguard. He said that he and Lin Li had many street fights, but his poor Cantonese turned it into chicken fights. Yam Yin Chai said that in one scene Man Wing Shan was buried. At the time he saw many worms nearby and did not dare to tell her as he was afraid of scaring her. Afterward he did not dare to tell her either. Man Wing Shan said that in the film Chau Sun, Lin Li slapped her at least eight times. Did she want to hit them for revenge? She said that she did not dare to hit them. She said that this time she learned a lot and never thought that she would be able to successfully pass this round. She also said that she has never been slapped before so they were very memorable.

The 35th Hong Kong International Film Festival yesterday held a press conference. Johnnie To Kei Fung, Wai Ka Fai, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Stanley Kwan Kam Peng, Lam Ka Tung, Michelle Wai (Si Nga) and Hong Kong International Film Festival Association chief Wong Ying Wai attended. At the event Wong Ying Wai announced that Yeung Chin Wa will be the festival ambassador and this film festival "Filmmaker in Focus" will be Wai Ka Fai. The opening films will be the To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai directed DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART (DAN SUN NAM NUI) and the four director shot short film QUATTRO HONG KONG 2, which will include the Kwan Kam Peng directed, Lam Ka Tung, Terence Yin (Wan Chi Wai) and Hiro Hayama starred 13 MINUTES IN THE LIVES OF...(SEUNG HO TO); Malaysian director Ho Yu-Hang directed, Si Nga, Chan Ka Lok and Wai Ying Hung starred OPEN VERDICT; Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul's M HOTEL and Filipino director Brillante Mendoza's PURPLE. Some of the actors attended yesterday's press conference.

The film festival will take place between March 20 and April 5 in Hong Kong. Wai Ka Fai yesterday said that he was very happy to be selected, which was considered a report card for himself. He said that most of the films were Milkway Image productions, so it was a Milky Way
report card too. Wong Ying Wai and the host introduced Yeung Chin Wa as Best Actress Yeung. Yeung Chin Wa asked not to be called that and joked that she itched when she heard it. Wai Ka Fai during the interview said that he has been in the business for over a decade. This time was a recognition. As for his favorite film, he said it was RUNNING ON KARMA (DAI JET LO).

To Kei Fung earlier presented the Hong Kong Film Critic Society Best Actress Award to Yeung Chin Wa, will he work with Best Actress Chin Wa? To Kei Fung said that he will even if Chin Wa did not win, only that he had three to four films on hand already and he did not have the time. He said that at the ceremony he saw Chin Wa's performance highlight and thought it was entertaining. Chin Wa was much better and more natural than he imagined. Chin Wa earlier said that if she had the chance to work on To Kei Fung's film, she was prepared to be yelled at? To Kei Fung said that he would not. Chin Wa was very smart and would resolve it very quickly. As for the absence of the DON'T cast at the press conference, To Kei Fung said that everyone was very busy and said that now with five lakes and four seas, the environment was very different of the New Territories, Hong Kong and Kowloon before. They could not take time from the production to attend like they did before. This was the world now.

Chin Wa said about To Kei Fung's praise that she knew how to resolve and did not need to be worried about getting yelled at, "Is he calling me mischievous? He is just being nice. If he wants to yell I can't dodge it." Chin Wa said that since she was young she was yelled at all the time, sometimes scolding was deserved and beneficial. Speaking of To Kei Fung's compliment of her acting as natural, Chin Wa happily said that To Kei Fung's comment was very important and had to be magnified ten times. Would Chin Wa recommend her husband Real Ting Chi Ko to make movies? She said no because working together would easily lead to arguments. Being her husband was already enough. She also said that her husband was not interested in acting. "You know just from looking at his belly. No male star would be like that. He has to play young male leads with his look, but he is so chok. No way." Chin Wa said that her husband early in his career actually worked on the film FIRST OPTION (FEI LUNG). In it he played a cop but ended up looking like a crook. Perhaps because of that no one asked me to make another movie. She said that if her husband played a tragic scene she would definitely make fun of him, because he was already very nervous about speaking in front of a camera.

Chin Wa said that as the film festival ambassador, she needed to promote films. Will she bring her husband to the movies with her? She joked, "Sure, but I don't know if I can buy one ticket get one free?" Kwan Kam Peng said that the short film 13 MINUTES IN THE LIVES OF...received help from the Leisure and Cultural Service Department and shot successfully at the World Expo. The short film was about 15 minutes long. Earlier Kwan Kam Peng reportedly replaced Kwai Lun-mei with Fan Bingbing in his new film HIS KINGDOM. Kwan Kam Peng honestly said that he has known Fan Bingbing for a long time. They would meet and discuss collaborations but they did not lock down on this film. Kwai Lun-Mei has not been confirmed yet, as they had to have a script before casting. Si Nga said that she played Wai Ying Hung's daughter in OPEN VERDICT, she said that she already liked Sister Ying Hung when she watched THE INSPECTOR WEARS SKIRTS (BA WONG FA). She said, "Some said that we look alike, after hearing that I was very happy."
