The Media Asia Group two nights ago held a Spring Banquet.  Its singers and artists including Leon Lai Ming, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Johnnie To Kei Fung, Josie Ho Chiu Yi, William So Wing Hong, William So Wing Hong, Real Ting Chi Go and his wife Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, 24 Herbs, Andy Hui Chi On, Justin Lo (Juk Tin), Edison Chen Koon Hei, Ivana Wong Yuen Chi, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and his wife Lisa S., Janice Man Wing Shan, Japanese group EXILE lead singer Atsushi Yesterday was Chin Wa's Lunar birthday, which the event celebrated.  Chin Wa even announced that her baby will very likely be a boy.

Before the Spring Banquet began, boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok led the artists and the guests for a group photo on the stage and held a toast ceremony.  After the ceremony, the host invited Chin Wa to remain on the stage and brought out a cake to celebrate her birthday.  Yet the host revealed that Chin Wa was 38 and said that two nights ago was Chin Wa's Lunar and regular birthday, which happens only once every 19 years.  Chin Wa said, "Why would you tell people it only happens once every 19 years."  Later she with her husband Ting Chi Ko cut the cake as if they were reenacting the wedding ceremony.  Chin Wa could not help but laugh.  She also made a wish for good health for everyone, children and wealth, and luck in love.

Two nights ago many artists performed, EXILE lead singer Atsushi sang I DO and won applause from everyone.  When So Wing Hong performed THAT SOMEBODY (NA SHUI), Lai Ming even jokingly went on stage to present flowers.  Two nights ago many artists put up cash for the lucky drawing.  Big Boss Lam Kin Ngok put up 30,000, Lai Ming 5,000, Chin Wa 2,000 and others.  Chin Wa was five months pregnant.  Did her cup size increase?  She said of course.  Was Mr. Ting very satisfied with his wife's figure?
He said that he has always been.  Chin Wa joked, "Did you eat the honesty red bean bun?"  Earlier Lam Kin Ngok revealed that she was carrying a son, Chin Wa said that she and Mr. Lam both originate from Chaozhou so they were more traditional.  She did not mind boy or girl, this pregnancy would very likely be a son but the ultrasound was not clear.

How did Chin Wa celebrate her birthday?  She said that two nights ago she had a party with family and friends.  Ting Chi Ko decorated the venue to give her a pleasant surprise.  When asked about her birthday wish, Chin Wa said that the most important was health and safety.  What did Mr. Ting give to his wife?  He said that the party was it.  Did he give anything extra this year?  He joked, "I already gave it to her.  She is pregnant, the gift can be displayed for an entire year."  Chin Wa said, "So gross."  Speaking of taking care of the baby, Mr. Ting admitted that she had talent and joked that he knew which kind of bottle would leak milk, because he had friends with babies too.  In addition, Gaile Lok recently was rumored to be pregnant, Lai Ming two nights ago took the initiative to clarify.  He said, "No lying during the Lunar New Year.  She isn't, don't misunderstand."  Reportedly he bought a home in the U.S. for Gaile Lok's pregnancy.  Lai Ming said, "Did I buy a home?  Yes, that's it!"

This year's first music industry report card the Metro Hit Award 2010 took place last night at the Convention Center. Eason Chan Yik Shun had five and a half awards, Joey Yung Cho Yi had five, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa had four, Kay Tse On Kay, Hins Cheung King Hin, Andy Hui Chi On
and Denise Ho Wan Si each had three, Raymond Lam Fung only had one. As for record companies, East Asia was the big winner with 23 awards, Universal had 22 and a half, and Emperor had 22.

As the year's first music award, not all the singers attended. For example Leo Ku Kui Ke and Lam Fung were absent due to work. However many top singers like Chan Yik Shun, Yung Cho Yi, Yeung Chin Wa and Tse On Kay dressed up for the event. The event also as usual arranged for a group photo of the singers. In the first row Yung Cho Yi stood next to her good friend Ho Wan Si, William Chan Wai Ting was behind girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin. Tse On Kay who was in a long gown received a hand from rival Joey when she left the stage. The sexiest should Sherman Chung Shu Man who wore a red strap dresses. She and her company colleague Vincy Chan (Wing Yi) both dressed up.

The host Bob asked William if his girlfriend Ah Sa won what would he say to her? William declared his love to her and said "I love you", leaving everyone there amazed. Ah Sa sweetly smiled and bowed, saying "Thank you!" In addition, the event claimed that back then VRF's award went to its manager, so last night they presented a make up 2001 Metro Hit Group Award to one of VRF's members, Real Ting Chi Ko and arranged for his wife Chin Wa to accept it on his behalf. Chin Wa could not help but said, "Wow! I am speechless!" Chan Yik Shun who was rumored to be replaced with Cheung King Hin as the winner of the Commercial Radio Award Male Singer because he would not extend his Universal contract was asked about this year's award show gossips, he only stared at the ceiling and made faces. Then he explained, "I didn't get enough sleep, I wanted to rest a little. Now I have four bags under my eyes, I don't want to talk so much!"

Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Real Ting Chi Ko who just completed their wedding banquets two nights ago enjoyed Andy Lau Unforgettable Concert on Boxing Day and stayed from the beginning to the end. Wa Jai saw the couple made valuable time from their "baby making" schedule to support him was not only pleasantly surprised but also decided to give his best performance to thank them. When Wa Jai danced in red, Chin Wa and her husband's blood also boiled from watching. They both got up and danced along with the music.

The guest was new music creator Hanjin Tan. Wa Jai said during his introduction, "When he was born he already knew I existed. Many people like his voice but not his looks. Actually he just isn't as handsome as me, but is still handsome. Would you please with passionate applause prove this to him!" Hanjin Tan also praised Wa Jai as a good role model of today's music scene. He said, "Now music really need a big brother, your hard work and enthusiasm for work is exactly the big brother style. You are a good role model for the younger generation!" Hanjin Tan sang STAR, his first Cantonese song performance and a sincere salute to Wa Jai.

Wa Jai continued to say Christmas Carols to celebrate with the crowd. A passionate female fan presented flowers to him and at the same time was so happy that she grabbed Wa Jai and started crying. Wa Jai tried to cheer her up at his own expense. "Don't be like this! People may think I cheated you......Hey! In the past I can still let loose, but not I can't!"

Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Real Ting Chi Ko two nights ago held their wedding banquet, which was both funny and cheerful. At the event, Ting Chi Ko had endless surprises for his old lady. He even made a video in which he was waiting for his wife to give birth and played the baby in the studio and sang and danced with his party.

"In the film although I was very silly and funny, I only had one reason of doing it. I like to the old lady laugh. The chance to see the woman I love the most laugh makes me lucky for life. Chin Wa, you married the right old man!" Videos of their childhood, meeting, dating, and marriage registration in Las Vegas were also shown.

When they entered, on stage they exchanged wedding rings, cut the cake, accepted guest well wishes and toasts. They kept thanking friends who helped with their wedding. Chin Wa even laughed, "Why is it so much like an award show......ha ha, like I am giving an award speech, haha, tonight I got this Lifetime Achievement award, which makes me happier and more touched than any other award. Thank you Father in Law and Mother in Law for giving me such a good old man, who makes me find myself again. I don't know what to say, I can only say thank you. I wish the most for Dad and Mommy good health, fortune and happiness. When I get married you are not losing a daughter, you get a son. Hopefully my little brother will get married soon so our entire family two more sons and a daughter."

Ting Chi Ko said, "In my life before I love three women the most, my grandmother, Mommy and Sister. From now on, my life has two more women I love the most, one is my old lady and the other is Chin Wa's Mommy. Mommy I will take great care of Chin Wa and will definitely take
care of you and Dad wholeheartedly." Then Ting Chi Ko sang NOTHING GONNA CHANGE MY LOVE FOR YOU to Chin Wa. They also sang Jacky Cheung Hok Yau's duet YOU ARE THE MOST VALUABLE.

In addition, Lyrics creator Lam Jik said on stage, "In 1996 I began to write lyrics for Chin Wa...her song YOUNG GIRL'S PRAYER, from a young girl who prays for love and marriage to Heavenly Father, to watching her grow up, watching her not turn bad, watching her until today when her dream came true, I believe no award would bring her as much joy. I once was very worried, Chin Wa didn't get married, do I have to write JOAN OF ARC PRAYER for her?......this Joan of Arc gets extra points spiritually and career wise, but on the road of love she drives people away......tonight, I say this to Chin Wa, 'When you are in joy, you don't need to understand joy.' Life unknowingly, when you put the word courage on your chest, goes along with you being yourself, achieves I am me, naturally you get what you want. I remember during the Lunar New Year, Chin Wa and Mr. Ting paid me a visit. We played mahjong together, many people say you see people's true nature on the mahjong table. I saw how much Mr. Ting cared and worried about her. During the game, Chin Wa discarded the wrong tile, Mr. Ting's smile was like seeing a child doing something wrong but still loving this child very much. I can give this sister to Mr. Ting with a lot of ease."
