The film ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) leads Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man sent their sweetest Valentine's Day wishes.  They shot a Valentine's Day special in advance.
That day they with roses in hand and originally were very romantic.  Goo Jai however joked that it was exactly like a wedding photo in the 80s, which made Sammi laugh nonstop.

Speaking of memorable Valentine's Day, Sammi said that mostly she met up with a big group of classmates for hot pot casserole or barbecue.  Everyone like her were single.  Goo Jai joked that he met with a group of male classmates for hiking and scenery painting, but they were all married.  Would Sammi spend Valentine's Day with Andy Hui Chi On?  She said that she should be at work.  Goo Jai joked, "You definitely will be at work with the film release."  Goo Jai in recent years have been missing a female companion, has her family rushed him?  Sammi intensely said, "Of course, morning and night."  Goo Jai said that actually they have not.

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok earlier went to Shangri-La to make the film ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II).  Due to the location's high altitude, air was thin and they had a tough time during the shoot.  With an entire family of sinusitis sufferers, Goo Jai during the shoot had a nasal water build up that gave him a splitting headache.  However he praised Sammi's strength.  During the crying herself hoarse scenes, she still was more than able to handle it.

Goo Jai in the film did not have as many action scenes as Sammi, but in one scene he went to look for Sammi in the forest.  He had to scream there, due to the thin air he felt dizzy from just running while screaming.  During the shoot, Goo Jai's sinus had a water buildup and required long term medication.  In high air pressure locations he would have headache, eye and ear pain.  At the time he suffered from a lot of pain.  Although he had medicine, after taking it he was dizzy and nauseous.  Thus he tried not to take it.

Even so, Goo Jai liked the life in Shangri-La very much.  Everyday he saw very pretty lake and mountain scenery.  His work schedule was stable, life was simple and he was very happy.  When he returned to Hong Kong after the shoot, he discovered that his health was much better.  He hoped after retirement he would be able to live life like this.  Goo Jai also said that now at home he only ate and slept.  He would be in bed by 6PM and out of bed before sunrise.  Reporters said that he was so rich he could retire now; Goo Jai said that it was not a money issue.  Now he still wanted to work.

Sammi said that before she went to Shangri-La, her health was great.  Yet after arriving she needed some time to adjust.  In the film Sammi had to run like mad and even had many screaming until she was hoarse performance.  She even had a scene in which she had to pull Goo Jai out of the water.  She honestly said that after these scenes she was very tired, she needed to exert a lot of effort.  Goo Jai joked Sammi was very healthy because Gao Yuanyuan had a similar performance, after which she was almost dead.  Sammi on the other hand could perform several times.  Sammi said that after the shoot she had to try to catch her breath too.

Due to the dry climate, Sammi's skin condition during the shoot was not great but she did not mind.  She accepted her image in the film, but on the stage she had to be pretty.  Sammi also pointed out that the character's stubbornness toward love touched her.  She was not stubborn and thought love needed hard work to maintain.  Earlier when she made EVERLASTING REGRET (CHEUNG HUNG GOR) she could not leave the character and suffered depression.  This time she again had to make crying and screaming scenes.  How was she able to leave the character?  Sammi said that when making similar scenes she took a lot of time to get into character.  The directors did not dare to chat with her, but as soon as she heard cut she was able to leave.  She continued, when she made the EVERLASTING REGRET crying scene, she could not stop even the director yelled cut.  Perhaps because she was sick at the time, she learned a lot about handling the character.

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok earlier were on a TVB Entertainment News Channel interview with Luisa Leitao (Lai Chi San).  They not only shared their ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II)'s experience but also talked about their views on love in detail.

Goo Jai said the most memorable was the scene in he carried Sammi while singing.  Because at the time he just had leg surgery, he kept worry about his wound.  Luckily Sammi was light and he was able to finish the scene.  Sammi joked that in this scene she suffered as she had to listen to Goo Jai sing.  She stated that it had nothing to do with Goo Jai's singing, only because she was a professional singer the scene made her want to sing!

As for their own views on love, Sammi said that she was not stubborn in love.  Instead she focused more on the effort that they gave in love.  After reuniting with Andy Hui Chi On, she was often asked about proposal, wedding and parenthood, she reiterated that she never thought about proposal and had no plan to wed yet.  Yet she insisted against her mate to propose in public, if it happened she would run away on the spot!  Goo Jai joked that Sammi and On Jai's reunion benefited him because he had no paparazzi during the film shoot to recycle their rumor!  When asked about Goo Jai's romantic status, he continued to keep his mouth shut as she said that career came first!

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) tomorrow will open in the Mainland and Hong Kong.  Leads Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok promoted in the Mainland, yesterday they attended the Guangdong premiere.  Both were asked about family as Sammi fans held up "Mrs. Hui" signs.  Reporters asked Sammi when she planned to wed.  Sammi did not know how to respond and finally co-stars Goo Jai answered for her.

At the premiere, Sammi fans held up a "Mrs. Hui" sign.  Not only did they screamed Sammi but also kept screaming On Jai and Mrs. Hui.  Sammi did not know whether to laugh or to cry.  They also tried calligraphy on the stage and gave them to fans.  Later during an interview a reporter suddenly asked when Sammi and On Jai will "close the sky roof" (wed), Sammi did not know how to respond, Goo Jai immediately helped out.  "She said that her home doesn't have a sky roof."  Later someone asked whether Sammi will perform a new concert and how she will spend Valentine's Day.  Goo Jai again came to her rescue. "Let her eat first, she hasn't eaten in several years.  It's such a shame."  A fan suddenly screamed, "Spend it with Ox Tongue (Andy Hui Chi On)".  Sammi laughed and said, "Next question please".

Goo Jai in the film fell in love with his fan Sammi.  In real life he often received love pleads from fans.  He said, "In the past few years I chatted with us online and played games.  They would reply to their letters but I would read the content first.  Because some would call me hubby and would ask me to marry them, I don't know how to handle those.  Improper handling would be rather severe."  Sammi joked, "So far no one has called me the Old Man, the relationship is the average artist and fan one."

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) two nights ago after its Beijing premiere went to Shanghai yesterday for the Lantern Festival premiere.  Sammi and Goo Jai added a heart to a pair of flying wings ice sculpture.  They also fed each other giant glutenous balls from Shanghai fans, which as soon as Goo Jai and Sammi saw they could not stop laughing.  Later they apologized to the host as they both stuff him with the balls.  Later they fed each other for press photos.  Humorous Goo Jai kept stuffing it toward Sammi's mouth, Sammi dodged left and right as she laughed.

At the event Goo Jai was asked whether he would consider directing like he did in the film.  He said that he has only shot his dog at home and his classmates.  He never thought about directing.  If in the future he will decide to direct, he will stop working for one or two years to study first since directing required a lot of knowledge.  Speaking of the production, Goo Jai pointed out that the most memorable was carrying Sammi while running.  He even had to sing.  Sammi though had it the worst because she had to listen to him sing.  Sammi praised Goo Jai's performance, he deliberately practiced before so the result was very decent.  Sammi also said that her character actually was somewhat like her.  If she believed in someone or something she would not easily change.

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok yesterday attended their new film premiere in Beijing.  Sammi's on screen husband Li Guangjie also appeared.  During the event, Goo Jai and Sammi were full of witty remarks and even sang the film theme song DO RE MI.  When Sammi was asked about Valentine's Day gift, she said, "I would give myself to him as a present."

Releasing simultaneously on Thursday in the Mainland and Hong Kong, ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) yesterday held its premiere in Beijing and attracted over 100 media members and fans.  The event first arranged for two children to play the film theme song, then played the music video before leads Sammi and Goo Jai appeared.  Always quick to the point, Goo Jai Jai was asked about his high plains production experience.  He said, "I have worked on the high plains before, I also have worked with Gao Yuanyuan before.  Actually the most difficult scene was when Sammi went mad and ran into the forest.  I had to carry her and deliver a very long lines.  At that time my leg was just injured.  It was deeply memorable."

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok yesterday promoted their film ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II).  Although they have been linked romantically in rumors when they worked together before, Sammi has already reunited with Andy Hui Chi On so they did not hold back at all.  During games they made loving poses.

In the film Sammi plays someone who was stubborn about love.  Was she the same type in reality?  She said, "I don't know, I have to experience it again.  Yet I am very stubborn with work.  I don't know about other areas."  When someone made fun of her as giving people the impression that she was stubborn about love in real life, she finally spoke the truth.  "Stubborn is a negative adjective, I am not stubborn."  Goo Jai helped her and said that she was actually persistent.  She said, "I am OK, I should work hard."  As for film box office confidence, Sammi said that she already did all she could.  She made a movie that she hoped everyone would like.  After watching it she thought that it had touching spots and the feeling was light; Goo Jai said that romantic films did not need to be passionate, touching the soul was already enough.  A friend told him that he wanted until after the credits to leave because she wanted to settle his emotions.

Hui Chi On in an interview said that when he proposed he would use a soft drink tab as a ring.  Sammi smiled without a reply; earlier she in a Mainland interview said that she had an urge to wed.  She explained that in her 20's she indeed had the urge and believed that many girls in that age would fantasize about marriage, but now she has already passed that stage.  Is happiness the most important now?  She said, "Being together is the most important, even after marriage you should know how to be together."

The film ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) last night held its premiere at the Sky 100.  In attendance were Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Wilfred Lau Ho Lung, directors Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai.  The venue was decorated mainly in white and spray with artificial snow, making it rather romantic.  Playing a couple in the film Goo Jai and Sammi held hands as they appeared and posed for photos sweetly.  Yet when her real significant other was mentioned, Sammi declined further discussion and again clarified that she had no plan to wed.

Goo Jai and Sammi worked together again after eight years.  He said that actually it was more than eight years.  If they counted television series they have not worked together for over a decade.  However because they knew each other for a long time they had a lot of chemistry.  Sammi said that off screen her friendship with Goo Jai has already been elevated to another level.  She also thought that Goo Jai has matured a lot.

To Sir revealed that Goo Jai was very hairy and this time even worked with real facial hair.  He truly was very manly.  In the film Goo Jai played an all purpose artist, but he claimed in reality he was not.  Although he has directed and sung, he did not know how to play the piano and write songs.  In one scene he had to write a song for Sammi, he asked her for help.  Goo Jai also said that in one scene he had to carry Sammi from a sea of tree.  He happened to not feel well that day, so the shoot was both very tough and unforgettable.

With Valentine's Day on the way, this film will be released on Valentine's Day.  Sammi said that she will not be in Hong Kong that day.  Has she prepared a gift for her boyfriend Andy Hui Chi On?  She sweetly said, "I am not talking about this, let's just talk about the movie."  Will she ask people to buy tickets?  Sammi stated that she will not be in Hong Kong.  How will Goo Jai spend Valentine's Day?  He said that he will spend it with To Sir and joked, "Actually Christmas last year, this New Year's Day and Valentine's Day, Easter I will be with him.  For the movie I can't do anything about it."

In addition, Sammi and On Jai reportedly will wed in August.  Earlier they even went bed shopping together.  Sammi reiterated that she had no plan to wed and she did not want to respond again.  That day they only passed by.  Reportedly they went to buy a bed for sex.  Sammi joked, "Wow!  I am terrified, don't talk about this.  Let's just be together for awhile."  Will Goo Jai keep a low profile on his romance as well?  He learned from Sammi and said, "Let's talk about the movie."  Sammi heard and joked that he was mimicking her.

The Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok starred ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) will premiere tonight and be officially released on February 9.  Yesterday Sammi and director Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai conducted a Mainland media interview. Speaking of marriage, Sammi admitted that for now she had no wedding plan and said that she has already passed the age when she would panic about marriage.  She also said that during the shoot although being in high altitude was very tough, her boyfriend Andy Hui Chi On kept encouraging her.

Sammi, To Sir and Wai Ka Fai accepted the interview.  In the film Sammi was more sensible about love.  Was she the same way in reality?  She said, "Very sensible?  Actually he and I in not so public places would be like an average couple.  If I need his opinion we would very sensibly chat."  She also said that now she would not throw tantrums, perhaps because she was out of temper.  She said, "The Lord absolutely wouldn't let me explode, which is an enormous change since my depression.  He benefits a lot from that."  Has her elders rushed her to marry?  She said, "So far I don't have any plan, maybe the Hong Kong media are more anxious for me at my age, but I have already passed the age of panic.  I have already gone from very anxious to not anxious.  My family is rather relaxed because at least I am dating."  She also joked that she was thick skinned so in the Lunar New Year she still accepted red pockets.

On Valentine's Day will she watch this movie with On Jai?  She said that she would not be in Hong Kong then, he might go with his friends!  However during the shoot she kept sharing her thoughts with him.  Two nights ago after the screening she shared with him as well.  He always encouraged her, telling her not to be too stressed and not to carry all the burden.  Thus now she could be more relaxed with the result.  Sammi also revealed that after completing two weeks of promotion she will fulfill a dream of charity.  Last year she went to teach English in the Yunnan mountain region elementary school with two friends, which she thought was very meaningful and missed such visits.  This year she will go elsewhere but this time she will not teach.  Speaking of her good friend Andy Lau Tak Wa's impending fatherhood, she said, "I sent him a text message to congratulate him because this is his dream.  After spending so much time on his show business career and art, now it is the time to truly enjoy life.  I believe his daughter will definitely be very beautiful."

In addition, Wai Ka Fai and To Kei Fung have worked together on many classic romantic films.  They felt that they made too many city films before so this time they deliberately went far away from the city.  Wai Ka Fai said that during the shoot he was worried.  Because of the high altitude, during location scouting he had quite a headache.  The location was very pretty though, so after returning he and To Sir still decided to shoot in Yunnan.  To Sir even praised Sammi's performance.  He said, "I am very satisfied with her performance.  She is more mature than before, her acting is much better too."

Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man earlier went to Shangri-La, Yunnan to work on the film ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II).  When the film started production it was late winter and early spring, the mountain was filled with snow.  With the high altitude the production was more difficult.  Many workers fell ill due to the thin air.  Goo Jai and Sammi had many running scenes in the mountains, luckily they did not have altitude sickness.  Sammi said, "Goo Jai and I had to run on the mountains, he even had to carry me and run.  However I am used to exercising so I was OK."

With her asthma, Sammi this time took nebulizer with her to Yunnan but she did not need to use them.  When she and Goo Jai went to the Emei Mountain for LOVE FOR ALL SEASONS (BAK NIN HO HUP).  She said that in recent years she has been exercising, which indeed benefited her.  She was much stronger.  Sammi in the film had to cry until she was hoarse in many scenes.  She thought that physical hardship was no problem, but expressing emotions on the face was harder.  Many scenes were shot in a rush, sometimes she got into the mood to cry but the director would switch to shoot something more girly.  Often she could not switch mood in time.  Did she complain to Johnnie To Kei Fung?  She said that she always thought she was very lucky, having a director who would put an effort into shooting her and kept discovering what she could do.  She said, "He truly treats me very well, Mrs. To is afraid that I don't eat and often personally cook for me."  The director claimed that she ate once every two weeks, Sammi joked that she was afraid her face would look too big on the screen but her body was like a famine victim's.

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok's most memorable scene in ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) took place in 6 degrees below zero Celsius.  One ran while the other one drowned.  In the scene Sammi saw Koo Tin Lok from afar and thought her long lost husband returned home.  Seeing Goo Jai soaking in the spring, she immediately ran over, pulled him up and saved his life.

When they shot the scene in Shangri-La, the temperature was only six below zero.  For such an icy and snowy feel, director Johnnie To Kei Fung deliberately chose the coldest time to shoot in.  Sammi earlier in the shoot has already entered her character.  In this scene her emotions completely flooded out.  Sammi said, "Actually my first take already had a lot of explosiveness.  After that I already felt like I was going to collapse."  Finally the director still wanted Sammi to make ten more takes.  Poor Sammi had to run, cry, yell and pull Goo Jai from the hot spring.

Goo Jai did not have an easy time either because he had to wear layer after layer of clothing and soaked his entire body into the spring water.  Although that was a hot spring, with all the wet clothing Goo Jai was still fine in the hot spring.  As soon as he left it the feeling was unusually hard to take as it was frighteningly cold.  Actually he did not soak in the spring for long, instead Sammi took more time to drag him out of the spring.  He felt very chilly.  Goo Jai said, "Actually I really just let Sammi pull me, I had to play like I was completely unconscious.  I was heavy so Sammi had a very tough time.  With the hot spring I really didn't want her to drag me out.  However because I had to be face down in the water, if she didn't drag me up I couldn't breath.  I had mixed emotions throughout the scene!"  After the scene, the team wrapped them both up tight, brought them into the house and used all the heat pads and heaters for them to get warm.

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) will open on February 9.  Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man earlier already began a series of promotion and shot Lunar New Year photos to wish everyone good health in the Lunar New Year.  Goo Jai and Sammi have been busy at work so they would take the Lunar New Year off to rest or to be with their families.

Goo Jai and Sammi earlier shot the promotional photos.  As soon as they saw the mini lion head and the big head Buddha props they were very excited.  They immediately performed a lion dance for fun.  When asked whether they will leave Hong Kong to avoid the Lunar New Year, Goo Jai joked, "It's not like I owe people money, I don't have to avoid them.  Actually normally I am really too busy.  On (this) New Year I will have a rare day off so most likely I will be at home and spend it with my family."  Sammi also said, "I too will mostly likely be at home.  From the Lunar 1st to 3rd I will keep eating to gain weight, because on the Lunar 5th I will have to fly to work elsewhere."  Will they gamble on the Lunar New Year?  Goo Jai said, "At my home it's truly very infrequent because since childhood I thought the sound of mahjong was quite disturbing."  Sammi pointed out that if her mother asked she would play mahjong but only for a few rounds at most.

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) earlier held a small media screening.  Most female viewers were moved to tears and some viewers had to remain in their seats after the show ended to settle down.  Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Louis Koo Tin Lok were very pleased to learn about the great audience response.  They liked this film very much as well.

Sammi pointed out that Goo Jai has always had quite a sense of comedy.  This time he had several scenes in which Sammi had a very hard time with holding back her laughter.  In one scene Goo Jai just arrived in Shangri-La.  He could not adjust to the climate and had to get an intravenous drip due to a lack of oxygen.  With his IV drip in his right hand and wine in his left, he looked very funny already.  Even the crew thought Goo Jai looked very funny, but everyone cherished their oxygen and thus held back their laughter. Otherwise they could easily be short of breath.  Goo Jai of course replaced the wine with tea.  He said, "I was already short of breath and they still wanted me to chug.  If the bottle was real I was dead for sure, of course I replaced it with tea!  I didn't want to truly become like Michael in the movie and had to breathe with an oxygen tank!"  On and off camera everyone's movement and speech were slower.  Goo Jai joked that when To Sir (Johnnie To Kei Fung) reached the mountain, he did not even yell at anyone and the world had peace.

As for Goo Jai and Sammi's romantic scene, they said that it felt very comfortable.  Yet a motorcycle scene reminded everyone of Sammi and Wa Jai (Andy Lau Tak Wa).  Sammi said that the motorcycle ride felt very different with Wa Jai than with Goo Jai.  She said, "Back then I saw behind Wa Jai, of course it felt great!  However this time on the motorcycle with Goo Jai felt more fun, maybe because it was in Shangri-La.  The scenery was beautiful and the air was fresher!  So this time was very memorable."  Goo Jai was very excited to ride the motorcycle and felt very satisfied.  He felt how high Sammi was behind him.

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) will be released on Valentine's Day.  Aside from Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Gao Yuanyuan also guest starred as Koo Tin Lok's girlfriend.
Yuanyuan and Goo Jai worked together last year on DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART (DAN SUN NAM NUI).  That time Yuanyuan chose Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho), this time in ROMANCING IN THIN AIR Yuanyaun played a runaway bride!

During the shoot when Goo Jai proposed to Yunanyuan, Yuanyuan joked, "Last time he proposed to me in DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART and I didn't agree.  This time I agreed, but my fate with me was doomed.  On the wedding day, my miner first love (Wang Baoqiang) successfully stole me away and embarrassed Goo Jai in front of everyone."

Goo Jai joked that after Yuanyuan dumped him twice in a row, from now on whenever he saw her he would think of the words "eating lemon" (rejected).  He truly thanked To Sir (Johnnie To Kei Fung) for the double impact.  However, if not so his story with Sammi would not have started.

On the day of the wedding shoot, Goo Jai was reminded of THE BUND and laughed.  Goo Jai said that the wedding interruption was too classic.  Overseas it happened in THE GRADUATE and in Hong Kong in THE BUND.  He never imagined that one day he would work on one and be the victim at that.  Yuanyuan during the shoot had to wear a low cut wedding gown, but Wang Baoqiang dragged her away in the crowd.  She was afraid that her gown would be stepped on.  How would Goo Jai react if it happened to him?  He admitted that he had no idea.  If the bride wanted to go with someone else, he could not get her back even if he wanted to.

ROMANCING IN THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II) will be released during Valentine's Day.  The film company has always used a snowy scenery as a poster theme.  For Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sammi Cheng Sau Man who lived in the thin air deep mountains for two months, the snow was even more memorable because when snow fell in Shangri-La, the temperature was 20 degrees Celsius below zero.

Sammi kept looking forward to snow though.  "yet waiting for snow was very tough.  Everyday we stared at the sky, but I thought the longer I looked forward to it the more feeling it had.  Waiting was a process, I would enjoy it."  Sammi spoke so romantically because while shooting in the snow most of the time she did not need to move as most of the time she fainted.  In the film Goo Jai had to carry her out of the forest.

When Goo Jai talked about this scene he made it so very easy, but actually the crew all worried for him.  Because in Shangri-La even quiet breathing was somewhat difficult, Goo Jai even had to exercise, carry Sammi and run in the forest.  The crew was afraid that Goo Jai would have breathing difficulties.  Goo Jai said to everyone, "What are you afraid of?  Sammi isn't even 100 pounds, carrying her is very easy.  You don't have to worry so much!"  However, easy might be easy.  After each shot when Goo Jai put Sammi down, Sammi still made fun of him, "You say it's very easy, you are all out of breath!"

Diva of a generation Anita Mui Yim Fong has passed away for eight years.  Her international fan club yesterday on the anniversary of their idol's death as usual went to pay their respect to Ah Mui at the Kowloon Tong Shang Shin Chun Tong and at night they held a memorial event at Central.

Ah Mui's older brother Mui Kai Ming around noon arrived at Shang Shin Chun Tong to pay his respect to Ah Mui, after staying for awhile he left two bags of clothing and fruit before departing.  Over ten Mui fans have been attentively folding offerings inside.  In front of Ah Mui's tablet were a large floral arrangement with purple roses and orchids, the words "Forever Miss You", a still of Ah Mui from the film THE MAGIC CRANE (SIN HOK SUN JUM), as well as some of Ah Mui's favorite food.

This year the most special was an appreciation certificate.  According to fan club president Ms. So, in the past Christmas, they on behalf of the fan club held an opening ceremony for the second Anita Mui elementary school in Ah Mui's hometown in Guangxi.  The fan club donated 150,000 to rebuild a new school campus so its 279 students would have a better learning environment.  The Ah Mui friends donated, the first Anita Mui elementary school has already been completed in Guizhou.  Now the second elementary school has been established as well.  The fan club would continue to extend Ah Mui's charitable heart in hopes of even more Anita Mui elementary schools in the future.

At night, the fan club held a memorial at Central with 200 fans in attendance.  When the memorial began, the entire venue held a moment of silence.

At the entrance was a donation box.  Fans with HK$100 donate would receive a Sotheby Anita Mui jewelry auction booklet, the proceed would go to the construction of the third Anita Mui elementary school.  A special exhibit was set up to display photos of the founding of the second Anita Mui elementary school.  Ah Mui's friends and disciples including Andy Lau Tak Wa, Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Grasshoppers all recorded videos that were shown at the memorial.  They hoped that charitable people would be able to support An Hui's noble wish of gladly helping others and make donations.

The Metro Hit Radio Award 2011 took place last night.  The first music industry report card presented almost 130 awards.  Eason Chan Yik Shun, Joey Yung Cho Yi and Twins won four awards each as they all became singers with the most awards.  Eason and Joey both won "Metro Hit Global Singer".  Joey who has always longed for a recrd award this time also fulfilled her wish as she defeated her "nemesis" Eason to win the "Metro Hit Record of the Year" award.

Chan Yik Shun and Joey not only won the "Metro Hit Global Singer" award, he also won "Metro Hit Broadcast Index award" and with BITTER MELON won "Metro HIt Song of the Year".  His SNOW IN JUNE and William So Wing Hong's THAT SOMEBODY both won the "Metro Hit Global Song".

Joey aside from the singer and record award also won "Metro Hit Song" with ONE FLOWER A THOUSAND TREES, while WALL PAPER won "Metro Hit Karaoke Song".  Twins' 3650 received song award and they won two group awards.  Metro this year added three special awards and presented the "Metro Hit Twins 10th anniversary award" to Twins, the "Metro Hit Most Outstanding Best Singer Honorary Award" to Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Andy Lau Tak Wa, "Metro Hit Most Outstanding Best Group Honorary Award" to the Grasshoppers.  Earlier accused of competing fiercely to be the top diva at Universal, Kary Ng Yu Fei and Kay Tse On Kay each won two awards.  At the same time the ferociously competed Rookie Award went to both Mag Lam Yun Tung and Joyce Cheng Yun Yi.  Miriam Yeung Chin Wa who was pregnant and did not attend also received an award.
