Hong Kong show business earlier raised fund for the Japan earthquake relief with ARTISTES 311 LOVE BEYOND BORDER and successfully raised HK$26.6 million. Yesterday a check presentation ceremony was held. The event supervising member Jackie Chan, Mr. Barry Wong, planner Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau command commanding officer Lieutenant-Colonel Samuel Pho (Fu Sam Chuen) and community relations director Wong Kwok Ching attended.

Lau Wai Keung said that 26.08 million have already gone to the Salvation Army for relief packages for the victims. The remaining donations were being collected. Later all of the donations would be accounted for. Jackie Chan pointed out that "trouble in one direction, assistance from eight directions" has always been the Hong Kong show business motto. They would carefully handle each relief project funding. Jackie Chan this time donated 4.1 million including the event production cost. The Salvation Army in mid May will visit Japan. Originally Jackie Chan wanted to tag along, but due to work he changed his mind.

Yesterday a report claimed that Hong Kong actresses were losing opportunities to Mainland actresses because many Mainland actresses had behind the scene bosses who pay for the movies. Jackie Chan said that he also signed Mainland actress Lin Peng and would recommend her to friends. Maybe everyone would use Lin Peng as a favor to him, but he did not know about the question of the behind the scene bosses. Ultimately he liked to use new comers. He also would recommend Hong Kong actresses to Mainland productions. Speaking of Hong Kong actor quota in co-productions, as the Motion Picture Industry Association vice chair Jackie Chan would like the chance to suggest to Mainland film bureau not to differentiate between Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan artists because everyone actually were Chinese artists. Actors should not have border differentiation.

Lau Wai Keung said that he used Shu Qi. He pointed out that now Mainland co-production standards were very loosen. Earlier when he made LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) the cast had Hong Kong actors, so no one should be too negative. For THE FLYING GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI), producer Peter Chan Ho Sun and director Teddy Chan Tak Sum were at odds and he had to take over. Lau Wai Keung avoided the subject and for now he could not talk about the situation. Was he afraid of upsetting Chan Tak Sum? He said, "I don't care about that!"

[2011.01.01] DONNIE YEN IS THE STRONGEST IN THE CHINESE FILM INDUSTRY

courtesy of on.cc

In 2010 Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred in three films, IP MAN 2, LEGEND OF THE FIRST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN and 14 BLADES (GUM YI WAI). They performed well in Hong Kong, the Mainland, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. IP MAN 2 in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia became the 2010 Chinese film box office champion.

At the same time, all three films made over 100 million RMB at the Mainland box office. IP MAN 2 made about 219 million, 14 BLADES made about 142 million and LEGEND OF THE FIST about 137 million. Yen Chi Tan was satisfied with last year's box office. Looking ahead to 2011, Chi Tan wished for a thriving Chinese film industry with variety. He said, "In recent years Hong Kong box office charts have belonged for foreign films. I hope in 2011 it will be balance back a little, Chinese film will be able to gain back more market share. Seeing now Chinese film's
continuously increasing quality, I have a lot of confidence."

In 2011, Yen Chi Tan will make three movies, ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2011 (JUI KEUNG HEI SO), Alan Mak Siu Fai's THE LOST BLADESMAN (GUAN YUNCHANG) and WU XIA. Seen as the box office miracle drug and winning Hong Kong ant Taiwan film actor of the year and the Chinese film influential figure of the year online, would Chi Tan have pressure? He said, "Of course I am happy about good box office and winning awards! However I won't give myself any pressure because of those. The pressure comes from my demands on myself. Every actor would like box office success, but film is a very special industry. Hard work and success don't
often equate. Sometimes timing, location and people matter. As long as I have done my best, I would learn to face failure in peace." Lately Chi Tan has been busy in Beijing with the film THE MONKEY KING (DAI LAU TIN GUNG). Wife Cissy Wang has gone to be with her family in the U.S. Thus the family could not be together during the holidays. He said, "In the Lunar New Year I definitely will make it up to my family."

[2010.11.17] NICK CHEUNG AVOIDS TOOTING HIS OWN HORN

courtesy of takungpao.com

ESQUIRE Men of the Year award ceremony took place two nights ago at the Repulse Bay Hotel. Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Alex Law Kai Yui and Lang Lang were among the winners. Other guests included Louis Cheung Kai Chung, Edmond Leung Hong Man, Alex Fong Lik Man and Sherman Chung Shu Man.

Every winner put some collectibles that represented themselves on display. Yen Chi Tan, Hung Kam Bo and Law Kai Yui displayed their past awards. Only the seven time Best Actor Cheung Ka Fai displayed an antique clock. Ka Fai said that at first the event suggested for him to display his award but he thought that was tooting his own horn a little, which he did not want to do. He said that he bought the clock in Europe. He felt that time did not differentiate between gentlemen and petty people so it was the truest. Ka Fai earlier guest starred in FOUNDING OF A PARTY in the Mainland and lately he also guest starred in a short film. He said, "As someone from Hong Kong, I have to support Hong Kong film." Ka Fai did not ask for any special salary, but he discovered that guest starring for a day was like making a movie, he had to prepare for the character just the same. After work he completely "collapsed".

Yen Chi Tan was busy with ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL 2011 (JUI KEUNG HEI SI). Reportedly when Raymond Wong Pak Ming asked him to make this film, he asked for a role for his sister in law Wang Yuanyuan. Chi Tan explained that he knew in advance that this was an ensemble film so he recommended Yuanyaun for an audition. The final decision lay with the director. Aside from Carina Lau Ka Ling, the film also starred Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Ronald Cheng Chung Kei. Chi Tan said that he left the comedy for Goo Jai and Cheng Chung Kei, this time he went to learn. Ka Ling joked that her husband Tony Leung Chiu Wai sent her to keep an eye on Chi Tan. Chi Tan joked, "Really? Then I will keep an eye on her for Wai Jai." Wai Jai's THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) poster was unveiled. Chi Tan has seen it and praised Wai Jai as very stylish and having a different feeling.

In addition, earlier Chi Tan complained that LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON) had less than ideal box office because too cut was cut. He clarified that he was not complaining and was only examining after the race. Actually every film would be cut. Would he put it as a condition on the contract? Chi Tan said that would be impossible as the actor was not in charge.

[2010.09.30] SHU QI LOOKS FORWARD TO A SEQUEL WITH DONNIE YEN

Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Shu Qi, Anthony Wong Chau Sun (second right) and others celebrate LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN box office success

courtesy of takungpao.com

LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) two nights ago held a box office celebration in Shanghai. Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung led stars Shu Qi, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Huo Siyan, Ryu Kohota, Chen Jiajia and others in attendance.

Lau Wai Keung stated that in the first cut the ending actually had an additional 8 minutes of drama that explained Chen Zhen's personal inner conflict, but it was cut from the release. He hoped this ending would appear in the film sequel as the opening sequence. Shu Qi also hoped to continue to perform in the sequel, and romance the Yen Chi Tan played Chen Zhen once again. Shu Qi said, "Everything would depend on the script, hopefully the ending wouldn't be as sad as this time." Since the Mainland release of CONFESSION OF PAIN (SEUNG SING), Shu Qi's LOOK FOR A STAR (YAU LUNG HEI FUNG), IF YOU ARE THE ONE, BLOOD BROTHERS, CITY UNDER SIEGE (CHUEN SING GAI BEI) and other films were big hits in the Mainland. Shu Qi's personal cumulative box office in the Mainland was near 800 million yuan as Shu Qi became the target that film companies, directors and producers fought over. With a lucky star like Shu Qu, LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN had hope to witness Shu Qi's personal box office mark breaking 1 billion yuan.

Shu Qi since her first film has worked with Lau Wai Keung 11 times already. Shu Qi joked that Lau loved to yell at actresses, thus no one dared to work with him. Shu Qi also said, "He is very responsible to me, he wants big things for me." Then she called Lau Wai Keung "Papa". Meanwhile, Wong Chau Sun praised Shu Qi for her quality and being radiant in front of the camera. Shu Qi and Wong Chau Sun might appear in another story in the sequel, as Shu Qi might play Yoshiko Kawashima.

[2010.09.25] LEGEND OF THE FIST SWEEPS ACROSS ASIAN BOX OFFICE

courtesy of takungpao.com

LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) was released the earliest in the Mainland. Its opening day box office was near 20 million RMB. Its three day box office exceeded 50 million RMB to become the most ideal performance among films of the same period.

The film opened in Hong Kong on September 23. The single day and special screening box office already exceeded 3.5 million, 2.8 million more than IP MAN 2's opening day box office. At the same time it was Andrew Lau Wai Keung's highest grossing film since the INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) film series, again confirming that the team of Lau Wai Keung and Donnie Yen Chi Tan was extraordinarily attractive.

The film was also released in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Their box office tally already exceeded HK$60 million. The performance has been rather idea and the cast was rather excited. When asked how he felt about the box office, Yen Chi Tan said that his joy was unprecedented because this success proved that the audience accepted his performance of Chen Zhen. In addition this time he was the action director and the audience liked his action films.

Lau Wai Keung was also very happy, saying that this was his best performance in the Mainland so far. He did not dare to slow down his promotion. After the Mid Autumn Festival, he and Anthony Wong Chau Sun began a series of Mainland promotions. The Mainland film company for now scheduled a celebration in Beijing on the 28th. Lau Wai Keung, Shu Qi, and Wong Chau Sun have already agreed to attend. Yen Chi Tan would ask his current production in hopes of attending.

courtesy of singtao.com

courtesy of mingpao.com

courtesy of takungpao.com

Shu Qi in the Andrew Lau Wai Keung directed new film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO YING HUNG CHEN ZHEN) played a Japanese spy who was stuck between a mob boss (Anthony Wong Chau Sun) and Chen Zhen (Donnie Yen Chi Tan). Because Chau Sun wanted to make her his eighth concubine, they had many flirting scenes. Instead her relationship scene with Yen Chi Tan was more low key.

Earlier Chau Sun complimented Shu Qi as the top beauty and stated that he would like to work with her again. Shu Qi also "returned the favor" and said that Chau Sun was a top hunk. As for working with Chi Tan Shu Qi honestly said that she was very pleasantly surprised. Earlier she has seen his work, but this time she felt that he has already found another Chen Zhen to interpret. He was very different from his previous image and absolutely shook of Ip Man's shadow. Shu Qi eve joked, "He was stripped naked!"

Speaking of Chi Tan's revealing scene, Shu Qi regretted that she was not on hand to see it but believed the clearer look was at the cinema. Shu Qi also praised Chi Tan as a good husband. Once she saw them dining together and he was sweetly looking at his wife the entire time. They were truly very fortunate. Would she like to find true love? Shu Qi sighed and honestly said that it was not like she could find it just because she wanted to. Of course girls would like to date. Would she like to find a good husband like Chi Tan or a handsome guy? Shu Qi said that would be very hard to say. She saw how lovingly Chi Tan looked at his wife, she believed that anyone would "melt".

Because Shu Qi in the film played a Japanese, in the film she not only had to speak Japanese but also had to sing Japanese songs. She said that while acting she had to mind her expression. She had to put her unclear Japanese into her brain to recite, which was truly very hard. She said that during the shoot she used a cheat sheet. Shu Qi in the film sang a Japanese song and three Mandarin songs, all of which were recorded on the film original soundtrack. Would she plan to make the jump to music? She said not to give her any pressure as singing was her interest. If she had to be a singing, she must have substance like Faye Wong, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, and Joey Yung Cho Yi. This original soundtrack was not her solo record, but she would treat this record like hers. It was quite a decent memory too.

The film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) yesterday held a premiere. Aside from actor Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Shu Qi, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, special guest Norika Fujiwara attended.

Due to the recently intense anti-Japanese sentiment in the Mainland and the film's background was the War Against Japanese Aggression, Norika was rather interested in this film and thus asked to attend. Reportedly, Norika came to Hong Kong to shoot a movie. Originally the shoot was completed two days ago. When she knew about LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN premiere she stayed to support it.

Shu Qi and Yen Chi Tan expressed that they did not know about Norika's attendance. Yen Chi Tan joked, "Maybe Norika learned that I would show my rear in the film, so she came to watch my 'August 15' (full moon)." Shu Qi played a Japanese character. She said, "Hopefully Norika
wouldn't detect how poor my Japanese was. I already practiced very hard. Actually, some Japanese fans thought my Japanese song performance was very accurate, better than with my Japanese dialogue." Shu Qi stated that after the shoot, director Lau Wai Keung asked her to provide voice work. Yen Chi Tan joked, "Did you ask the line, 'That island is ours'?" When asked whether he was referring to Diaoyutai, Yen Chi Tan avoided the political subject and joked, "I was referring to Lamma Island. Artists and historical problems are better off remaining separate." Shu Qi stated that she was worried about playing a Japanese and stressed that she was bleeding Chinese blood.

[2010.09.19] DONNIE YEN WALKS THE LONGEST RED CARPET IN HISTORY

courtesy of singtao.com

The film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN held its Taiwan premiere. Donnie Yen Chi Tan and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung arrived in Taiwan and rushed to the press conference, after a series of interviews they went to the premiere. The event arranged for a 3 minute long red carpet. Yen Chi Tan and Lau Wai Keung chatted as they walked, jokingly asked why they still could not see the end. After red carpets of Venice, Beijing, Shanghai, they joked that Taiwan's red carpet was the longest in history.

"Strongest in the universe" Yen Chi Tan was a victim of a prank. The event presented a "sick man of Asia" plaque for Yen Chi Tan to kick, but after ten kicks he still was unable to. Finally he only broke a corner. Actually this plaque was made with canvas.

Donnie Yen Chi Tan in LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) sacrificed his looks. Because he thought his nude scene double was in poor shape, he suggested to perform it himself. During this nude scene, Shu Qi who did not have to work that day came to watch the shoot on the set.

Yen Chi Tan and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung yesterday promoted the film in Taiwan. At the press conference, Yen Chi Tan said, in the film he had a torture scene and the director gave him a pair of shorts that resembled what Japanese sumo wrestlers wore. He did not take it look good and thought it was impractical. "Why would the Japanese treat their prisoner so well and give him pants to wear? When I saw the director hired double, I thought 'his figure isn't half as good as mine'; so he suggested for him to perform in the buff. As long as it was not a frontal shot I was fine."

The host jokingly asked the director whether he deliberately arranged for a double in poor shape and ugly shorts for Yen Chi Tan to volunteer for the nude performance. Lau Wai Keung joked, "Yes, this was my conspiracy." Yen Chi Tan said that during the shoot he asked the set to be cleared. He never imagined that over 100 people crowded into the set. Lau Wai Keung joked, many workers, women in particular, volunteered to help on the set. Even Shu Qi who did not have any scene that day asked, "Do you need me to help with anything?" Lau Wai Keung said, everyone had a lot of fun.

Chen Zhen was a character who was created in the film THE CHINESE CONNECTION (JING MO MOON), but because the late kung fu superstar Bruce Lee brought this character to life, when the director asked the film production Yen Chi Tan was very reluctant. Later when the director added other elements into the film and added some culture to Chen Zhen, he was willing to perform. In addition Chi Tan worked with two Best Actors Anthony Wong Chau Sun and Huang Bo in the film. Yen Chi Tan said, "Being able to work with two Best Actors and a Best Actress, I got into character very quickly. From them I learned a lot."

LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) two nights ago held its global premiere at the Beijing Film Museum. Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung led actors Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Shu Qi, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Huang Bo, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Huo Siyan, Ryu Kohata and Exile member Akira attended.

Shu Qi wore a short white dress and walked the red carpet in the arms of Chi Tan. The team after arriving in Beijing in the morning began to work. Due to the tight schedule, they have not eaten all day and was starving at the premiere. When they saw over 1,000 onlookers, they immediately became energized and excitedly appeared on the red carpet. Shu Qi and Chi Tan in the film played a couple with an awkward relationship. Shu Qi sighed that Chi Tan truly was a very nice man, unfortunately she was not his wife. Chi Tan looked embarrassed.

After the Beijing premiere, the film last night held its Shanghai premiere. The host brought out nunchukus for Wong Chau Sun and Huang Bo to plya with. Chau Sun looked convincing with them as he joked this was his god son Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun)'s Chou-chukus and revealed its secret, "Actually during the shoot I picked up a lot from Lau Wai Keung and Yen Chi Tan."

Shu Qi after the film shoot wished that she could marry a man like Yen Chi Tan. Yesterday another actress Huo Siyan also daringly admitted, "Big Brother Chi Tan is who I want to marry" and even praised Chi Tan as the "New Good Man". She said that she was envious of how great Chi Tan was to his wife and thought this was the man who she wanted to marry.

courtesy of mingpao.com

With endless film contracts, Donnie Yen Chi Tan has another new film release LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN). Earlier he promoted at the Venice Film Festival. Everyone would be concerned whether LEGEND OF THE FIST would be able to break IP MAN's box office. Because its strong cast and crew, Yen Chi Tan, Shu Qi and INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, the film is already a box office guarantee. Yen Chi Tan also has been promoting heavily, everyday he made action poses to remind everyone that he was Chen Zhen.

Yen Chi Tan yesterday practiced topless yesterday under the Ching Ma Bridge. Has Yen Chi Tan been too much in character and everyday was a mix of Chen Zhen and Ip Man?

[2010.09.09] DONNIE YEN FLIES INTO A CAR

courtesy of takungpao.com

With the Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN, the director Andrew Lau Wai Keung in order to wash away Chi Tan's previous image spent a lot of time to talk with Chi Tan to study action scenes.

Lau Wai Keung felt that in order to expand Chen Zhen's legend, Chen Zhen's every move must be very fast, vicious, and accurate. Chi Tan's earlier characters might be more focused on structure, thus he strictly asked Chi Tan for a sense of speed that must be 100% accurate and
fast to be able to capture Chen Zhen's characteristics.

The most surprising part of the black hero scene was Chi Tan was as fast as a car, then flew into it through the window. That second took most of the day to measure and test positions before its completion. Any accidental contact with the car would make the scene a failure. Thus he
had to be very accurately jump into the car. Luckily Chi Tan finally was not injured and the shoot was very smooth. In addition he also had to kick in the rain. Although kicks were not hard for him at all, the wet road and the run on top of the car made them difficult for him. In one
take he almost slipped, luckily he had good balance and did not fall. Chi Tan after the shoot breathed a sigh of relief, "That was close!"

Ah Lok earlier personally attended the Venice Film Festival. On a Mainland site interview, he said that he was able to make that film completely because of director Andrew Lau Wai Keung's invitation. In addition he has never performed in an early Republic film, thus he became interested in this character. Ah Lok said that he did not know how to fight and was only responsible for the dramatic scene in the film. All the action scenes were Donnie Yen Chi Tan's responsibility.

In addition, Ah Lok's films REIGN OF ASSASSINS (GIM YU) and CHILD'S EYE (TUNG NGAN) also appeared in Venice. He honestly said that he was rather lucky to have three films at his first Venice Film Festival. He even said that currently he would like to work with director Feng

Donnie Yen Chi Tan earlier promoted his film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) in Venice. He has already returned to the Mainland to continue his film shoot. Recently LEGEND released another sets of stills. Chi Tan even appeared in a Clark Gable look, picking up Shu Qi on a motorcycle.

Chi Tan recalled this scene took over a dozen takes before the director accepted one because the director wanted them to perform a fondness for each other but could not show their feeling. With only his wife in his heart, Chi Tan remained firm despite being in front of a beauty like Shu Qi. However he could not help but compliment Shu Qi as a truly charismatic woman. Chi Tan rode a motorcycle himself for the first time, Shu Qi honestly said that she never worried about Chi Tan's abilities. In addition Chi Tan was very careful and did not ride fast. She said that she has never been more at ease on a motorcycle.

In addition, they were also very happy when they worked on a dancing and drinking scene. Chi Tan said that during the shoot not only they were drinking, the director also drank with them because the director liked the cheerful drinking atmosphere. Chi Tan said, "After the shoot the atmosphere was even more cheerful than during the shoot. Due to the cold, actors at first drank water in place of wine. However halfway through many actors truly became drinking. The team even bought a case of white wine to satisfy everyone's demand."

The 67th Venice Film Festival held an international press conference and an opening film red carpet ceremony for the Media Asia film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) on September 1. Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung and Donnie Yen Chi Tan both brought their wives, Yen Chi Tan's sister in law Wang Yuanyuan accompanied Shawn Yue Man Lok on the red carpet so he would not have to attend solo.

Yen Chi Tan was very excited to see the LEGEND OF THE FIST posters all over the streets of Venice and foreign fans kept asking him for autographs and photos during the international press conference and red carpet. Even he dared not believed how well known he was overseas. Lau
Wai Keung was very happy that foreign media praised his film's intense drama and exciting action scenes. After the premiere the film received very high praises as it received a five minute standing ovation from the entire audience. Over half the audience was reluctant to leave. Some
felt that this was the most exciting Yen Chi Tan film yet. The admission rate was over 90% and applause was endless during the screening.

In the Chen Zhen torture scene, Chi Tan's revealing performance left the entire audience's mouths wide open. In order to show off his figure, Chi Tan joked that of course he had to properly work out and exercise like mad. Lau Wai Keung praised Chi Tan's generosity and stated that Chi Tan never cleared the set. Even Shu Qi deliberately visited the set. She even dragged the make up artist to enjoy the scene together. No wonder Yen Chi tan joked that this scene alone was worth 50 million RMB box office.

Chi Tan met with famous Hollywood director Robert Rodriguez backstage. Robert Rodriguez even expressed that he was a fan of Chi Tan. First time film festival attendee Yue Man Lok became bashful before the press conference because he just met Jessica Alba. The ordinarily
playful him turned quiet as his palms were sweating and face turned red. He was surprised that when he walked the red carpet many fans cheered for him.

impression of the place. He said that he put the premiere tuxedo in his carry on luggage to avoid luggage loss panic. Luckily this time their luggage arrived in Venice while he was stuck. He said, "If the passengers could not make the flight, their luggage should follow the passengers. Yet for some reason the luggage arrived first." Yen Chi Tan also would celebrate his seventh wedding anniversary with his wife Cissy Wang in Venice. Although they have been married for seven years, he honestly said that he did not have the seven year itch, only seven years of joy.

Cissy Wang yesterday brought her children to a Disney musical event. Cissy Wang and her daughter graciously posed for pictures, but her two year old son was fussy and had to be admitted first with a friend. She said that her husband Donnie Yen Chi Tan was busy with a film
production and could not attend, but tomorrow they will head to the Venice Film Festival because his film LEGEND OF THE FIST THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN (JING MO FUNG WON CHEN ZHEN) was selected to be the opening film. She said, "I haven't seen Hubby's movie, but he said it was decent." She said that the 30th will be their seventh anniversary and they will spend it in Venice. Has she prepared a gift? She said that she will have to think about it. Will they have another child? She said they will not.

Earlier Yen Chi Tan was rumored to be making Raymond Wong Pak Ming's comedy JI KEUNG HEI SI 2011, Chi Tan's first official comedy. She said, "I have heard him mention it, Boss Wong did approach him." Did she feel Chi Tan had the comedy gene? She said that normally Chi Tan was pretty funny at home, but she did not know whether everyone would be able to accept it. Reportedly Chi Tan's salary has reached 15 million RMB for ten days, she said she did not know.
